    Hello all,

i have 2 graphic card one radeon 5750 and a asus radeon 6990.
Now i use the 6990 for mining, so it is in full load all the time.
But i see the gpu clock from the 6990 jump to 900 like it has to, but after some minutes the gpu clock starts falling from 900 back to 500 and then jumps up again. It wil do this every second.
Is there a way i can fix this, so that the gpu clock will always stay at 900 when mining.
I have re installed the drivers, no luck, tried different drivers also no luck.
I have re installed windows completely and all drivers.
    I found this on google:
(Its the ultra low power saving (ULPS) feature of catalyst. Go into regedit and search "EnableUlps" and change value to "0". After you change the 1st one press "F3 or find next" and repeat for the rest of them. Worked for my 5970's. GL)
tried that also and had no luck.
I have no idea anymore what i can test.

Make sure temperatures are fine for GPU and VRMs, turn off ULPS (via latest MSI Afterburner Betas, rather than via registry, this ensures it's done right), increase power limit to the maximum. If all fails, rename the miner and see if that works, but watch temps and power draw closely then, as that will bypass any artificial limitations placed driver-level (99% there aren't any for a mining program, ofc).

    Thanks for the reply.

The tamps are not a problem, the 5750 gets to 90C and the 6990 to 80C and 84C, have the Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo 6990 on it.
I will test it with the beta version.
But have one more question, i see that when i start mining with the 6990, i have a Kh/s of 450 on both cores, but after some time it drops to Kh/s 350.
Is that due to the cores jumping ?

I downloaded AB beta, but i don't see the option of power 20% in there.
And when i run the mininer on the 6990, i only have 62Kh/s on core one and only 262Kh/s on core two.
I should be something like 400Kh/s on every core.( didn't overclock with AB beta)
    That cant be good.

    [Edit]
just when in to save mode and removed all AMD drivers en AB.
Rebooted windows and re installed AMD and AB.
Now i do have the option on power 20% back.
It is running on 400kh/s again, with is good.
Now testing to see if the core's keep at max MHz

    [edit two]
No luck starts jumping the second i turn the miner on.
jumps from 500MHz to 880MHz haven't overclocked it this time.

    [edit three]
even more strange is that the two core go from 500MHz to 880MHz, but when i also have my 5750 mining the core two of the 6990 starts working at 880MHz and stays there till i close the 5750.
