As much as i enjoyed Elite back then, just a modern Elite with great gfx but the same gameplay will be boring as hell.

This game needs Rift support.

 

Would really only be nice for viewing stations. Ships tend to be very far away.

 

Looking good, thoses giant stations will somewhere replace the miss of "planet" exploring.. I hope they have put a bit more work on the campaign story, was not a problem for me, but for many peoples i know, they have never been able to keep them playing after some days due to this.

Hoping for a good trackIr support as now there's cockpit..

 

Depends, i played 50% of main story but then I got bored and started exploring.


There are a lot of side stories on each solar system which earned me $$ millions.. Bought new ships, better weapons,etc..

When I couldnt continue i returned to the story and finished the rest.. After that i could build stations etc.. But stopped eventually, after ~ 150hrs or so.

 

I believe most have got the mail, but for peoples who have never registred on egosoft or suscribed. release is 23 November.
