As you can see you have several .infs inside your driver's folder. The nvidia driver installers use one or several .infs to install a driver in a specific system.

The inf you checked is for CUDA updates only, and it will update to 320.17 if lower versions are present. You need to delete the PCI ID of your card from that inf(nv_disp.inf/nv4_disp.inf) and add the PCI entries to nvacn.inf.

    English ;)

Figured it out. The only package that got the updated driver is the notebook one, the desktop is still the older version. ;)

Can you reach this page? [IMG]

Don't download the desktop ones since they are older(320.17 only). The notebook ones are a later release(320.20).

EDIT: Sry didn't saw your previous post.

So rather than waiting for actual desktop Betas you guys are trying to hack mobile betas in hopes they have fixes? Doesnt this strike you as a lose lose situation?

    Modded 320.20 version only for 570, 670 and 680(not tested): https://cloudpt.pt/link/96de1dd9-6613-4bd9-bc5b-6d9d3a9319d6/320.20_winvista_win7_win864_mod.rar

Remember, if you're using Windows 8 you must disable Driver Signature Enforcement if you want to install this driver successfully.

Nop, that old inf you checked is for CUDA updates only, and it will update to 320.17 if lower versions are present. You need to delete the PCI ID of your card from that inf(nv_disp.inf/nv4_disp.inf) and add the PCI entries to nvacn.inf.

If you check nvacn.inf it contains a newer version(320.20).

Nowadays the drivers are unified, what really matters is the version of the driver itself. Being desktop or notebook ones are just a matter of PCI IDs present in the .inf files.

I know INFs I uploaded how to mod on youtube once ;)

Anyway now it shows all as 320.20 in nvcpl, it was just driver reinforcement check that needed to be disabled - hehe I forgot about that :D

Meh AVP2010 still has flickering spider webs on the wall.

I guess all other problems with 320.18 are here.. Including BlackOps2 black/white dots, etc.

Marginal improvements in synthetic benchmarks, which may not always be the best translation to the real bump in performance and optimization, especially considering lots of different CUDA implementations.

With CUDA 5.5 I notice a significant improvement in madVR + LAV CUVID, the clock deviation during rendering is much lower now(resulting in smoother frame to frame transitions).
