    I was hoping to see some improvements for games released recently but fine anyway. I guess I'll just wait a little longer ...

    What games? Are you having performance issues? A lot of current games already run better on amd gpus compared to their Nvidia counterparts.

    We are waiting for the fix for crossfire because y'know, it provides no benefit at the moment as any extra fps is just runt frames.

    These are taken from the desktop driver information. Maybe they're not all HD7xxx series rebadged as HD8xxx OEM?

    AMD9839.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8180"
    AMD9834.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8210"
    AMD9838.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8240"
    AMD983D.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8250"
    AMD9836.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8280"
    AMD9832.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8330"
    AMD68F9.4 = "AMD Radeon HD8350"
    AMD68E5.1 = "AMD Radeon HD8350"
    AMD9830.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8400"
    AMD6779.3 = "AMD RADEON HD8450"
    AMD6778.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8470"
    AMD675F.8 = "HD8510"
    AMD675F.4 = "AMD Radeon HD 8510"
    AMD683D.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8760"
    AMD683D.2 = "AMD Radeon HD 8760"
    AMD665C.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8770"
    AMD6818.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8870"
    AMD679A.2 = "AMD Radeon HD 8950"
    AMD679A.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8950"
    AMD6798.2 = "AMD Radeon HD 8970 Graphics"
    AMD679B.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8990"

    Real HD8990 or OEM HD7990 labelled as a HD8990?

    and of course, Richland APU's

    AMD9998.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8370D"
    AMD9996.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 8470D"

    7990 rebranded to 8990 OEM.

    Nope, they're also rebranded.

    8300 - 5450
    8400 = 6450
    8570 = Oland
    8670 = Oland

    I realised the Richland APU's are rebranded, but I did not know that the HD8990 was released alongside the HD7990 for OEM.

    Ooh, nice, downloading now, will install for both my 3-way HD79xx series as well as my 3rd rig with a HD6990 + HD6970. I was at the nV 320.18 driver section (I have a pair of GTX670 as well) and man, did nVidia drop the ball on that one! Though it seems to mess up Fermis, I'm leery of installing it for my GTX670's just because.....:3eyes:
