Pool would be good for this thread ? I like dogs more than those small cats (leopard, tiger and so would be nice, before those get the idea that I might taste good).
I have 3 cats at the moment but when we move to a larger house with fenced yard I'm buying a couple German Shepherds.
Cat, but I don't have one because I live in a place where I can't let it out. Cats don't freak out if left alone and do not need constant attention.. perfect for me.
I love both but I can't have dogs in my apt plus I don't have the time to give a dog the care and attention it requires and deserves. I have a cute 2yr old, smokey grey fuzzy monkey cat I call Lacey.
Dogs any day. I like how cats don't require much attention, but that also makes them boring pets to me. And I believe if they were big enough, even house cats would try to eat us... they're predators after all. How about making a poll, if possible?
Loves both but I've had more dogs in my life. Wife and kids really want another cat. Currently have a greyhound named Bandit.
Cats. All the barking gets on my nerves. There's one exception though...Saint Bernards. I grew up around them and they didn't bark much so they were easy to get along with, as long as you don't mind a little drool everywhere. The last one my parents owned could get food off the top of a refrigerator. He also weighed just over 200 pounds. Needless to say, getting porcupine quills out of his nose was an experience.
i do like cats, but prefer Dogs. why? because they're loyal, playful (fetch the stick?..jump the obstacles etc) and very helpful when trained, they walk the blind, they can defend the owner and his property from thieves and attackers, they can discover drugs and weapons (police dogs), they save people buried under the snow and dogs like Rottweilers were used by the Romans to win wars, and so on. cats are beautiful, clean and supposedly smarter than dogs, but ultimately useless (unless you count mouse catching) and many cats even after years might still scratch the hand that fed them, also most cats like to put themselves in danger (now that's not smart) which is going to be heartbreaking for the owner should the cat die.
cats, but i like siberian huskies a lot, its just that cats are easier to own they dont really need you at all, always quiet, clean etc btw i own neither, but i plan on getting one and Mr_ALLroy's looks amazing ^^
