And why we can't have these tech demos available for download to try them ourselves?

Good publicity for them eh? Too bad they got no real games and actual gameplay to show as per usual.

    Yeah, it looks spiffy.
But... I'm more "meh" on it then impressed. It does look great.

But, it's the same generic sci-fi/Blade Runner style world we've seen thrown at us time and time again.
And, they release a video like this... yet are pushing Fort Nite as their big "PC Exclusve" UE4 game. meh.

A single GTX680 is powerful enough to deliver CGI Quality graphics..

A single GTX680 is powerful enough to run this but Battlefield 4 needed two 7970's to run at 60fps...

Pretty sure the demo was doing 30FPS like Samaritan.

We're not even sure if BF4 is really requires the 7990 DICE is using to run it at 60FPS.

    The Samaritan was not @30FPS

    It was 2560*1600 + AA/60FPS with 3*GTX580

Samaritan was also abusing UE 3 to the max pretty much. Dynamic shadows everywhere x)

Visually impressive, but we'll get the same dumb A.I. from most UE4 games as most A.I.s we've had since the past decade. Notice when they create new engines and post the key features there's never anything pointing about the A.I. branch of said engine? They don't care because it doesn't sell, sad... oh well. I don't know who coded the A.I. in F.E.A.R. but the guy(s) should start a school somewhere and start educating future game developers around.

I'm just tired of playing games with superb visuals, animations, particle and shadowing effects when the enemy just stands behind a crate until his health depletes and doesn't run away when I throw a grenade at them. We're in 2013 visually, but it feels like we're still in the mid 1990's A.I.-wise, excluding the very few exceptions we do get from time to time (such as FEAR, Rise of Nations or Galactic Civilization). Anyway... yeah, UE4, looks good, nice physics, nice effects, alright, whatever.

I hope UE4 has a bit more visual variety than 3. Looking at the character models they are all big and blocky with huge limbs (Gears of War, Batman: AA/AC). I still think the best looking UE3 game until BioShock: Infinite was Mirror's Edge.
