Half-Life 3 was at GDC 2013?

How about Portal 3?
Even if it is HL3, i'd hope they changed the gameplay else it would feel pretty stale these days.

 

That's not selling out, there's a trilogy to finish :/

 

People said exactly the same thing about the Twilight "Saga"
I suppose it depends on if it's something your into or not, but people said the same thing to me about that stuff, so we will just have to see what people do.

 

Whether it's Twilight, Lord of the Rings, Mass Effect, Halo or Half-Life, to stop producing a story driven adventure 2/3 of the way through is a pretty messed up thing to do to your fans lol. It's one thing to make millions of spin offs and 16 sequels. If Valve doesn't finish the Half-Life story I'll be really upset.

 

2013: H3 at GDC

2013: E3 shows 99% complete H3.

2020:Steam pre-loads go live for release of H3. Valve still finalizing box art for retail version.

2021: Valve releases patch to enable support for M/K, as they ran out of time during development.

 

Mass Effect ended at 2!!!!

 

Tell me about it. I'm still hurting from the lack of a shenmue 3 and kotor 3.
