no. I hate laptops

 

Need someone with a Sony Vaoi laptop to confirm if these work or not.. I've been burned too many times since 310.90 and I'm sick of doing system restores after perma black screens.

 

Are you uninstalling the drivers then rebooting and installing the new ones? If so then it is likely occuring because Windows is installing the default driver at the same you're installing a newer one manually and they are conflicting with each other.

I've never come across issue since installing Windows 8 for the first time, when it proceeded to install the default driver without me being aware of it. Since then I've always installed them over the top of the previous driver using the Custom > Clean option. I never uninstall the old driver first; I've never found it necessary to do so.

 

Yep, I've never had the black screen issue with Windows 8 and, like you, I always use the Clean install option.

 

If anyone has a Sony Vaio laptop and had installed this succesfully, please let us know -.-

What's the word on Titan throttling/dropping voltage issue?

 

Are these drivers just certified versions of the v314.21 betas? Do I still need to install them for BioShock Infinite if I alreadt have the v314.21 betas installed?

 

I had the black screen for about 5 minutes and I was thinking WTF is going on here. As I was about to reset my computer the screen came back on. I don't know, wait longer?

 

No. They are newer.

 

Probably because HDAO runs ****ty on nv hardware as its AMD AO, look at FarCry3.

No Improvements in Crysis 3 with this Driver on Titan SLI...

 

Never had this kind of issue.
I've been installing all NV drivers for the past 4 years:
Go to
-Safe mode
-Uninstall driver
-clean with Driver Fusion (Driver Sweeper)
-clean with Registry cleaner
-restart to safe mode
-install NV driver
-restart and enjoy
Works perfectly

 

I'm installing the drivers with clean install option. It installed them fine but I was unable to do anything after that. This time soft power down didn't work (probably because I pressed crtl+alt+del at that point and screen was black after that, mouse moving only). Didn't have this issue with single card.

Gotta try that next time.

 

I think that not much people spend his money in two titans in sli...
