    Was this the platform update that quits support for older directx versions for developers tools? If this was it I was afraid it might cause some trouble...

    If you are a Windows 7 DirectX developer who uses the June 2010 DirectX Software Development Kit (SDK), you will have to update your development environments after you install this platform update. The following development .dll files that are associated with the DirectX SDK are incompatible with this platform update:
    •D3D10SDKLayers.dll
    •D3D11SDKLayers.dll
    •D3D10ref.dll
    •D2D1debug.dll

    After updating I had to re-install my Sweet fx configurator because it wouldn't load. I didn't think it would cause any other issues to me but I had also missing textures with Sweetfx on for the new Tomb Raider. I'm going to test this now again after having the update uninstalled.

    I tested it again and I confirm it is fixed. I also confirm a black tint flickering throughout the game while playing with or without Sweetfx

    I know. I'm dying to start DX10/11 but I first need to fix the few remaining issues with DX9 and fully understand how directx calls work, it's still very new to me since I started out a month ago. It's looking good so far though as I noticed the performance of the new injector was somewhat better than mrhaandi's, I got a 3/4 fps loss SMAA on with the former versus 5/6 with the latter (at least for Unigine Heaven 2.5 DX9, you can benchmark both dll yourself)

    Interesting. I guess I need to download newer SDK then. Good **** Microsoft :|

    I haven't tried it but GTA Vice City is a DirectX 9 game, which the injector supports, so it should work fine.

    Games I use SweetFX with:

    Crysis 2, Crysis 3, AC3, FIFA 13, Max Payne 3, Sleeping Dogs

    SweetFX works fine with Afterburner in these game but fails to work with most of them when Fraps is running. Anyone else having this problem?

    This might have something to do with SMAA not actually working correctly with your injector.

    It only very slightly blurs the image, but no real anti-aliasing is being performed.

    I tested both injectors (with only SMAA enabled) in Amalur. The results are completely identical (visually).

    tomb raider is crashing for me also, i dont have that microsoft update KB2670838 because im on Win8...

    I tested again with Borderlands 2. The AA and framerate is essentially the same for both dlls. Not sure what's going on in that tech demo.
