I was in a cave when i tested on/off and with off it didnt look so rich, lightning was kinda less detailed., could be because there was a lot of shadowing going on in there..

 

could you make some static screenshots of it on and off?

 

I much prefer the hair on NALU the mermaid from nvidia, which was done several years ago

Alright, I got at the point where I need to go up the antenna. How far am I in the game then? I don't want to rush through it, but it's so much fun.

 

just got past this bit, and i think it was around 15% in. you can see your progress in your save games I think...

 

Yes, that is what I noticed. But I think it will only get to 100% when I picked up all extra items.

Do you know how to use it with AMD cards? I have H:A, so can I just copy "cfg" to TR-cfg?

My post was referring to Nvidia SLI compatibility bits, which would have nothing to do with a comparable AMD configuration.

Nvidia inspector, as the name suggests, only works with nvidia cards. For AMD cards you can use RadeonPro. However, it won't help you make your game more stable, it's already stable with AMD cards. Nor will it help you optimize the performance, as there aren't any big compatibility problems with AMD cards.

Uncle Dude apparently found a workaround for the nvidia driver issues with the game while waiting for an official fix from nvidia. Not sure why you think you can apply it to your AMD card when AMD drivers don't even have any issues with the game to begin with.

I know it's AMD optimized game, but i can play H:A on ULTRA with tessallation and other stuff. But TR is having a huge fps drop with TressFX and Tessellation

 

Im sorry, but could you please say that again... and in a language i understand, such as FRAPS.

 

just because you can play H:A on ultra doesnt mean you can Tomb raider...different games..

if I rem HA was patched a few times and in a lot of cases it's best to wait a bit for better drivers...

p.s your cpu+gpu arent exactly beasts..does dpend on your res used ofc.

 

Would I be mad for locking the game to 30 FPS just to max the options (aside from TressFX which just doesn't work at all for NVIDIA cards)?
