I unpack your .zip in which Folder ? C:\NVIDIA ?
Then I launch setup.exe to install ?
There are no Physics ?

Then you dont have to worry about driver reinforcement.

Extract it anywhere you want, I keep my extracted installers in C:\nvidia

Why do you need it? you already have it installed from before, you can always re-run your extracted physx installer from older driver (its the same version, just like hd audio or that update).

That's it.

EDIT:Well here's the deal, there is no more stutter, games such as BF3 and ACIII perform amazing, but there is one thing I've noticed altough I do have my FPS above 60 constantly I cant help to notice my max FPS drastically fell to lets say 60-100 range, and previously it was 80-115 range constant.

I am not worried about it because the smoothness and overall performance just kick ass, but idk what to think about max fps thing.

 

You say there are better than 314.07...Maybe Ican get improvment in Black Ops 2...

 

Getting poor GPU usage in Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn with this driver.

Performance in Resident Evil 6 Benchmark however, i'm not so sure if the level of performance is intentional or what as a super stress test or something.

RE6 is very gpu bound most of the time and also cpu boud at certain parts, monitor gpu usage with something like msi afterburner to see a bigger picture

I was reffering to physx when i said why do you need it.

And yes worth a try. I didnt try Cod BO2 yet

I didnt see any lower fps, Im using 70fps cap with msi afterburner and it stayed pinned around that fps most of the time, except were i was gpu/cpu bound

 

When i apply overclock in msi afterburner the driver crash and restore itself but the profile didnt rly applied

 

thanks, but this says it the 3D drivers are not compatible and will uninstall them...is there any way around this, or a complete driver set?

found the international release and modded .inf over at laptopvideo2go
installed fine, about to fire them up

 

this drivers is beter for me than titan ones because titan driver is disable my internet and give me problems
maibe i give another chance for them

 

How can it disable your internet connection?

 

no instaled them again now not tj ver but internationtal and after i reboot for driver signature disable i boot in to windows and no internet only after i instal nvidia drivers and reboot :bang:
and i had 2 driver crash when try join server on bf3:banana:

 

Fyi, my packed version in US with pre-modded INF in it (just run setup and install). :]


That stand-alone modded INF is English -US, not International.


Also no way it could cause conflict like that, imo you are doing it wrong.

 

My Windows realy bad I mes with new Intel rst driver and Internet shut down until I remove and reinstall Internet driver's

 

Loving these drivers. Best since a while.

Oh yeah I know. I get like 99% constant GPU usage except for one drop to 77% at the end of the first scene.


With FFXIV ARR benchmark though, my GPU usage almost never goes above 80% and a lot of the time is stuck ~50-60%

 

I posted this at the nvidia forums, but thought someone here might have a solution? With all drivers post 310.70 I cannot have my desktop extended/cloned while playing a game? The games loading screen will flash a couple of times, and then I lose signal altogether requiring repost. Again, v310.70 and prior drivers do not cause this type of issue. Its driving me crazy that I cannot figure this out. Thanks for the help.

edit - definitely something to do with sli. If I disable sli I can then extend desktop and then play games.

 

I've still got the bug in BF3 where when you first join, sometimes everything is really dark. If you go to windowed mode everything is normal but when you go back to fullscreen everything is dark again. Have to leave the server and restart the game for it to fix itself. Anyone else still having this problem or know of a fix?

Unfortunately had my first BSOD with this driver under Windows 8. Left the machine on all night and this morning another BSOD. Bah!

Going back to the previous driver for now...

 

Still great for gaming on Win7, but I've hit an issue on my Win8 Developer Preview† HTPC in the other room: When you ask something Flash to go full screen, the plug-in container train-wreaks.

Then, I tried to update the MPC-HC-LAV-madVR combo, and LAV Video would crash when I tried to set it to CUDA. Rolled the LAV version back, got the exact same crash.

So I've rolled the nVidia driver back 306.whatever, and them two issues went away … :3eyes:
