    turn OFF DPX or set less blend in DPX and add this to liftGammaGain

    RGB_lift 1.065 1.035 1.000

    Guys, does anyone know how to make SweetFX work with the Serious Sam HD-remakes? I've tried tons of different options, including doing what the log-file says:

    "full path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Serious Sam HD The Second Encounter\Bin\
    redirecting CreateDevice
    initialising shader environment
    D3DXCreateEffectFromFile failed
    try to use "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Serious Sam HD The Second Encounter" for shader files"

    That's going to make his shadows considerably brighter. Unless that is your goal.

    It's possible to modify the colors the same way and keep the same amount of brightness.

    RGB_lift 1.035 1.005 0.933

    Without playing the game, I can't really recommend the right settings. Yours seem very sharp and contrasty... rather than warm and soft like you were going for. I would remove DPX like Marcel suggested though.

    Well there is a reason why that game is getting 3 to 4 scores from pretty much everywhere.

    it's a little better

    now try negative settings for Exposure in tonemap. Maybe

    Exposure -0.08 and for DPX try this

    Code:
       /*-----------------------------------------------------------.
      /                      Cineon DPX settings                    /
      '-----------------------------------------------------------*/
    #define Red   15.0  //[1.0 to 15.0]
    #define Green 15.0  //[1.0 to 15.0]
    #define Blue  15.5  //[1.0 to 15.0]

    #define ColorGamma 1.8 //[0.1 to 2.5] Adjusts the colorfulness of the effect in a manner similar to Vibrance. 1.0 is neutral.
    #define DPXSaturation 2.0 //[0.0 to 8.0] Adjust saturation of the effect. 1.0 is neutral.

    #define RedC   0.33  //[0.6 to 0.2]
    #define GreenC 0.33  //[0.6 to 0.2]
    #define BlueC  0.31 //[0.6 to 0.2]

    #define Blend 0.22 //[0.0 to 0.1] How strong the effect should be.

    i do not have this game and this is only "blind" settings :) but try

    Downsampling doesn't heat up your GPU any more than playing a really graphically intense game will. It just puts more strain on your GPU.... much like very high resolution textures would. As long as you set up a fan profile in something like MSI Afterburner or EVGA precision, you won't need to worry about heat. With 2x 680s in SLI (and all the heat they can produce), I never get temps above 80°... because fan control.

    Not really noticed any difference in temps, never goes above 65.
