lol! Good one Dude! Have you tried it with the:chainsaw2:? It's the new fashion in hair styling.. Also just throwing it out there, a 460 SLI is around 660 performance wise afaik. So yes, it can hold on a bit longer. But just barely. Of course this is subjective obviously based on the usage. Also he could sell the 460's and get a 660-660Ti and later when the Titan prices drop a bit, sell again the 660Ti and get a nice Titan!
Here are some estimated real benchmarks: http://www.hardware-infos.com/news/4223/nvidia-geforce-titan-erster-echter-3dmark-score.html

TSMC's 28nm FAB had 80% yields as of August, 2012. I'm sure they're doing better than that today. http://www.electronicsweekly.com/Articles/22/08/2012/54395/tsmc-28nm-yield-tops-80.htm
If you read my sig right you should have seen i got GTX480 in SLI. I already own 2 Crucial M4 SSD's 128GB in raid and a 160GB Intel X25 SSD so no gain there . Crysis 2 and BF3 both run great, but they are getting old. GTX480's in SLI perform roughly around a OC'd GTX670. So i really need a new card ... Hence the Titan ! Going to keep the GTX480's as spare or for friends. The Titan for me is gonna be a day 1 buy!
Well, i wonder how much of a "limited" edition will the Titan be,cause i don't want to miss this GPU. I think i'm going to pre order the card on every shop so i can get my hands on oneLOL
Nr transistors is very good but die size is sufficient well. OCL 1.2 is coming for Fermi... Very likely performance issue will be fixed. :nerd: Good memory bandwidth. DVI-VGA adaptor included because CRT monitor stiill is living for excellent gaming.
Looking pretty good if that is true, glad to see it's 6GB, well it should be considering the price it's likely to be. Still waiting to see how the GK114 cards turn out though, these big cards are a step backwards in many ways, i also want to see how driver support is, as if this is a limited run card then it might end up being neglected.
Makes sense as long as the fabs wont increase quality any time soon. This way, they use the best silicon for the Titan and when they have built up enough silicon that didnt make the grade, it can be used for other GPUs.
So the Titan is going to be better than the cards that are released in Q4? Almost 1 year away and i believe that the cards in Q4 will actually be better than Titan. Technology rolls forwards and not backwards as some people would have us believe. Common sense again.
No. Since the Titan isnt a full kepler, it has 1 smx disabled = 2688 cores. the full one is 2880 cores. My guess is the GTX 780 will be fully unlocked. GTX 770 will probably be a revised titan, with 3gb of vram
Could be, but if tesla K20x has max 14smx I kinda doubt we will see full 15smx version any time soon. For 770 im betting on 13smx (2 disabled), which Im hopefully going to buy soon
Ah ok thats the one im interested in. Yeah ok i wasnt popping at you i just wanted to know what the score was
