The trainer (made by Lingon) was nice, but it occupied far too many hotkeys. I used some of those hotkeys for my own Cheat Engine hacks.

I looked to see if he did it for Dead Space 3 because I'm lazy, but he didn't do it yet for the Origin version, and that's what I'm using. So I did it myself.

Typically I take 3-4 screenshots moving the mouse straight down, then shift the mouse right or left a bit and take 3-4 more (going up). Rinse and repeat for the width of the panorama.

I will then use automate -> photomerge in Photoshop. I leave the setting on auto, but if that doens't work, I try cylindrical. I'll crop what I want form the end result and then save that as a PNG.

I use Faststone image viewer for the resizing (lanczos2 filter).

AA in this game sucks. Forced AA breaks lighting\shadows. IN-game AA doesn't cut it. Downsampling + SweetFx (FXAA version) seems to work the best.

jim, can you point me in the direction of the fxaa version of sweetfx, the thread in this subforum only has the 1.3 regular sweetfx.

SWEET. I might give a Panorama a go later :)

As for FXAA, why use that ? Isn't SMAA better ?

A common misconception. I'll let Jonas explain it...

In Dead Space 2, I was only ever able to completely remove aliasing with FXAA... or that AA inspector flag that broke shadows and alt-tabbing... (ugh)

    Hmm. Interesting.

I was just using some slight Sweetfx with in game SMAA. I will break out radeon Pro and see what it can do.

Also...Panoramas. How do you get just the environment view with out your character ?

I noticed you seem to be able to do in most games going by your pics. A

Think I prefer SMAA with Dead Space 3, as i prefer the sharper image. Shame I can't go any higher than 2880x1620 though, can't get 3200x1800 to work on this monitor =[

Shame developers don't add this as a feature in their games for screenshots, like skyrim etc.

Nice shots all. I've been playing some Star Trek Online lately, pretty fun game, first time I've played a MMO.
