Oh boy imagine if they included some Ultra presets in this beta, hehe like Ultra textures, wow! It's the first C3 beta i played, i'm thinking i may install the latest drivers for this as i'm on the quadro 307.74

I visited mycrysis forums and though there doesn't seem much activity right now there's for sure folks playin game right now.

yeah its my system. its a fresh installed and origin seems to be giving me problems



run repair for the game and it re downloaded and now its working

Anyone started playing, yet ?? Is it 2007 all over again (or is it another 2) ? Is it going to melt my 690 Quad-SLI ?
Grr... I won't be able to see how it looks and runs until this weekend.

 

Downloading now, just hope it plays better (gameplay wise) than the Alpha did.

 

Anyone else getting pretty severe GPU bottlenecking?

I've got the graphics on High with TXAA Medium enabled, and it happily runs at 60fps (vSync is on by default, I believe) with about 85-95% GPU usage, but when I look towards the action on the map my GPU usage drops to about 45-50% and my fps drops to about 30. my CPU usage across all 4 cores is about 65%, so that's not even being fully utilised.

I am yet to see if lower graphics settings have any effect, but this occurs on both maps.

Also, this is my first experience with TXAA, and it is beautiful!

 

Very crysis 2, with floaty feeling to movement, even though i had motion blur disabled it was on in game.
gpu usage around 55% interestingly vram just under 1.4gb
I can't play this due to the blur will have to wait till retail.
It's great we can disable AA and blur all the same, for those of use that dislike them.

smooth as silk with latest 313.95 but IQ is down of course.

First Impressions:

Hunter mode is fun
Gameplay feels more balanced
Performance is good at my end, everything on Very High with FXAA on (tried 4x MSAA and it killed the performance)

 

Well we've seen the earlier videos where it is more dynamic so it might just be a multiplayer or even for this beta a sort of extra optimization.

 

@Whitelighting- Looks like Crysis 2.

 

It looks like Crysis 2 of course it does. But the extra new layer of vegetation makes it all look a lot more natural looking. Level design itself is also considerably better.

I'm hitting a fairly solid 30fps on high settings with FXAA enabled. Killed two guys in Hunter mode which was fun but matches just don't last long enough.

 

I'm getting OK performance on very high spec, with fxaa I have around 58 fps with the occasional dip here and there. Triple Buffering is not supported since vsync capped my game to 30 fps.With medium txaa I get around 40 ish, probably not playable for multiplayer, didn't even try MSAA.

Visually, I m a bit disappointed, game looks just like crysis 2 with some extra graphics settings like anisotropic filtering. I suppose the grass looks good. It' s not like I had a lot of time to enjoy the surroundings Hell, even the menus look the same. Bummer.

Multiplayer was fun though, I enjoyed the hunter gameplay and the team coms chatter makes it more engaging and tense. These bows are damn powerful!
