No I have a Sunbeam Core-Contact Freezer on it, so these temps are safe for 24/7 use

those temps are safe, being an after market cooler, those temps are not very good for just 3.9ghz. what cpu volts are you at 3.9ghz?

set your cpu volts manually. I would start a 1.1v and work your way down.
p95 64 bit avx v27.7 build 2, blend setting 5000mb memory or even more ram.

If I set cpu volts manually will the cpu still down clock at idle and the temps I posted are when the room temp is the highest like 75f most games stay 43-47c

I'd just leave it, sure you could get it cooler with less volts but not much, why not just go and enjoy some games? 70C is the zone to start worrying.(high 60s if you're overly careful -which is a good thing).

The MSI MPOWER Z77 has no offset voltage in the bios so I will leave it but thank you for all your help

really? you can just try and set the voltage to 1.1v or even lower. so your cvoltage is the same at full speed and 1600mhz?

C'mon man that wouldn't power a tablet, my 4.7 OC volts are 1.38v (intel max recommended), and my 4.8 OC volts are 1.43v, hell yeah! Juice it up man!

    . . . :eek:c:

    *not referring to you, badbuck.

yes you can set the cpu volts but it will stay at 1.1 all the time even at 1600mhz msi on this board has no offset but I will try it and see I will post back the results in a few

ok I set the volts to 1.1 the max temp prime95 was 58c so only 2c diff the voltage stayed at 1.1 even at idle so the cooler is not that good but the temps are safe some day I will get a good one with two 560tis in the case they can up the temps some so I think my temps are not that bad

You can try 4.0-4.1, that cooler should handle that no problem. just find your lowest stable vcore, if you can keep it under 70c or so max in p95.
