    It's just you. 12.11beta and 13.1whql are about 15% faster than 12.8whql in BF3.

I'm talking Crossfire here now, you saw that, right? Single card the 12.11 and 13.1 are way faster also on my setup.

    Well duh.... lol

Obviously CCC is going to be using some resources while a game is running.....

First driver to actually use 100% of my GPU's resources, and not stay locked at 99% all the time

    Its a miracle =3

i'm not able to apply CAP profiles to games because i don't have a crossfire mode option listed to do so. i've circled the area that's missing in CCC for me below.

anybody else having this issue? i've uninstalled, reinstalled CAP 12.11 beta 2, and the 13.1 driver itself to no avail.

Maybe you're talking about the MipMap Filtering quality?
Anything related to that is under the "Texture Filtering" section
(I don't have the MegaAdvanced options of the CCC unlocked through the registries)

    Good Luck!

This option to change Crossfire profiles should be there without any special actions from your part...Assuming you 2 cards and properly plugged. The last time I had missing options in CCC (EQAA and Morphological wasn't there) was because i was uninstalling drivers and installing the new ones with no reboot in between, and there was some kind of conflicting left overs from the previous installation...
I would suggest you to try to new AMD drivers uninstaller :
    http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/catalyst-uninstall-utility.aspx
Or DriverFusion, if you think your computer will not be borked by these cleaners:)

    Hello man, and thanks!..
Can't I just replace the "atiadlxx.dll" from the 12.11b into my current install of 13.1/13.2 (downsampling not working either with 13.2)
Sounds less complicated than 2 other re-installations and even AMD tell us to uninstall old drivers before instead of installing on top of previous drivers...
Anyhow thanks A LOTTTTTTT! I will try that after I come back home :)

Please post back to see if that worked... specially just replacing the file.

The only reason I am not going to try the new drivers is because of missing the downsampling. I just can't play the games that don't have proper AA supported without DS. They look terrible! :bang:

WTF AMD this has just been solved in AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta11
    :zap:

EDIT Someone with a twitter account please let Andrew know that they "forget" other "proper files" beside those for HDMI

@mercury_22 Yeah, funny thing that they claim that this is fixed in 13.1 too, but it is not. See http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalystSoftwareSuiteVersion131.aspx

    Same

I'm not seeing it either. I did a clean install. Tried running the uninstall utility but forces all my monitors off until I shut down and reboot. Any ATI tweak tool to bring back the crossfire mode option?

Also my Borderlands trifire gpu utilization is down compared to 12.10 though fps average feels the same. Skyrim though doesn't use all my gpus in trifire without the crossfire mode option and feels slower than before.

Seems like ATI WHQL drivers always feel like beta drivers.. :bang:

EDIT: Seems like you have to make a custom profile to bring that crossfire mode option up. Its not a global setting. :stewpid:

Any chance of somehow injecting or using that HDMI audio hotfix on the 13.2 beta?

    Hi,

I have Quadfire 7970 and my first card has XFX Black Edition BIOS (1000Mhz 1425Mhz)

My problem is: my first card memory clock doesn't go into idle mode like the other, it doesn't download. It stay at 1425 Mhz memory clock but core at 500mhz.

    Memory should be at 150mhz.

    Someone with same issue.

If you have several monitors the clocks won't go down, it's designed that way

HDMI audio drivers are succesfully installed.
Is it normal to see a disabled HD audio Controller in device manager?
If I enable it, I get exclamation mark in orange triangle ...

    I have 7950 in CF ...
