No I don't believe the 650 is worth it, aim for at least a 660. If you're seeing artifacts why not tone down your overclock?

No. GTX 650 Ti is slower than your GTX 560 Ti and probably even than GTX 560.

ok well then... i still wanna upgrade my card. and to answer, i have upgraded to the 1.04 patch and do have the 310.... the artifact was crazy.. the mountains in the game were stretched all the way up to the sky and every time i moved it got worse to the point that i couldnt even see anything.

what card can i upgrade to for 160$ thats better than mine.. (Preferably Nvidia)

Have you overclocked your graphics card? What is the GPU temperature? Do these artifacts happen in any other games? Have you stress tested your GPU? Is your GTX560Ti still under warranty?

You might just have a simple issue that can be resolved.

that is right, might be a small issue...overheating i think

Have u tried resetting motherboard to default settings....(PCI-E frequencies and voltage)
If u are using Asus 560 ti, stop smartdoctor....

no overclocking here... the card runs at a stable 83 (when in use) i dont know if im still under warranty. till the last time i played farcry 3 (3 hours ago), i have not had any game do that (i have over 20 games and most are recent titles with and DX11

also FC3 was running awesome till i last played it. maybe it was the patch then,,, because it was working fine before i patched it.

What kind of graphical errors do you get? I've had a couple on the newest driver on games such as GTA4 expansion & Painkiller with white textures everywhere

Seems to be better on an older driver version

    Uninstall Video Drivers .
Then Clean Nvidia Drivers with Driver Sweeper from guru3d (in safemode)
then install stable drivers i Recommend to use 306.97 WHQL when install mark clean install to be 100% sure.
    then :pray2pc:

Word to the wise, don't configure your hardware for this game.
If you want to upgrade fine, but this game is no measure of your PCs power /weakness.

I have a 560 TI as well, and have experienced the same type of graphical artifacting that you described, with polygons stretching to the sky and terrain suddenly becoming walls that make the game unplayable.

The video card is most likely fine; what you should try doing is noting the exact in-game settings you have enabled at the time of an artifact occurrence, and what driver you have running.

For me, changing drivers made all the difference. The GTX 560 Ti is a capable enough card to run Far Cry 3 at mostly all high settings. For me, I have the game running with at least 50 FPS with all settings to the highest, except for Post FX(low), and AA (off).
