Hmm, so I noticed on Windows that when my screen goes to sleep, there's a 80% chance it will wake to a black screen (screen will turn back on, but I'll only see a black screen instead of Windows). A Ctrl + Alt + Del usually fixes this, but if it doesn't, a DVI unplug and plug back in will.

Rarely my screen will go to sleep and stay off completely (won't even turn on) and the only fix for this is to power the computer down and reboot.

Anyone else experience anything like this?

    Yep.

I had black screens but reinstalling drivers seems to have helped - so far...

Anyone else experiencing a massive memory leak while playing BF3 with all the latest drivers on Windows 8?
I can't pinpoint the cause...the only relevant article I've found is one regarding the same issue but on Windows 8 Release Preview. I'm using the final RTM/GA and I've tried all the recent driver AMD has pulled off.
    My current GPU is a 6870 1GB.

i can confirm that the latest beta drivers don't like my overclocks aswell. i was running 1125 core and 1475 mem before and had to revert to stock clocks. haven't had the time to find the max yet.

I went back to 12.11 Beta 8 as the 11's were giving me lock ups in applications and games that previously didn't lock up, Battlefield 3 being one of them. Just me or did anyone else have this happen.

Overclocks running fine and smooth in all games I play. Something I did notice was that after sleep or monitor off games would crash. I had to reboot to fix it.

is anyone having far cry 3 crash to the desktop constantly with these? im trying to figure out if it is a problem caused by the driver or just the game.

I'm happy to report that I haven't had a single "computer hard lock" so far with this driver set. Only took AMD 10 months to fix it :)

Far Cry 3 has been working very well. No CTDs at all.

No lockups or any other kind of crashes with one of the beta/official drivers...only that damn memory leak.

Any news on the nest driver release? I heard there was going to be a new driver in a week or so... 12.12 maybe or just 12.11 beta 12?

In Battlefield 3 I'm still getting this weird ass kind of stuttering / lagging:

Cannot find any Windows 8 driver for my 6870 that doesn't do this.
Had this in Windows 7 until a driver arrived that fixed it. Seems like they brought it back.
Besides Catalyst drivers I've ofc. tried all low settings+resolution+fow, vsync and no vsync.

Do anyone by any chance know some fancy fix to this by any chance? Modifying the driver or some weird ass solution perhaps.

Far Cry 3, Dishonored, Hitman Absolution etc. worked fine with this driver.

I have constant crashes. Cant play more than 5-10 min without crashing to desktop. Tryed on stock or overclocked and no difference. What version of the game you have instaled 1.0.1 or 1.0.2 because I install this drivers in the same time with v 1.0.2.
I see some peoples dont have any problems with this driver so maybe they can tell us what version of the game they have installed and what ingame settings they use. Thanks

P.S. I tried this drivers with Hitman Absolution, Crisys 2, Borderlands 2, MOH for hours and overcloked and no problems whatsoever.
