It would also help if you could provide your testing methology. Where you are seeing higher temps/power draw/etc..?

I believe Powerdirector 10 and 11 would receive updates from Cyberlink to fix this issue. No updates planned for Powerdirector 9.

I was getting microstuttering in far cry 3 with 310.33 to 70 but them i found this:

    Add this MaxFps="60" Gfx_Maxfps="60"
after showfps="1" in your GamerProfile.xml no more microstuttering. You have to mark GamerProfile.xml as "read only".

Thank you for that info. I see that Cyberlink just released an update 2 weeks ago that addressed the issue with the 30X.XX drivers.

I replied in the other thread, but, just in case:

Settings (except that I used a fixed # of pre-rendered frames before):

You can change frame limiter in game profile with inspector (set at 60 fps) and removes stutter too, so you can leave config files.

    Same for you.

I've installed AC3 tonight and found higher performance with SLI disabled. Using 310.64. Can you test this profile? Thank you

It happened when i quit the app., i hosted it could be a connection with that.

Anyway I played Aftermath at same OC and it ran ok, although nvidia needs to optimize this new DLC a bit

(mostly Markaz Monolith), there are few stutter places like here on pic if i look left/right it jitters - vram size isnt a issue i have ~100mb left..

The SLI profile for Natural Selection 2 created by Nvidia and released in recent drivers has stuttering and large frame drops when entering different rooms in the game with large GPU utilization drops.

This only occurs with the bits provided.

If instead one uses the SLI profile that dishonored uses (i just switch the .exe in Inspector), these frame drops do not occur.

Can you test this to be true AndyB? I am sure those bits would be better than the current ones in the profile.

I also sent this as a PM just in case

Still crashing in BF3. And now the streets are green in every map.

Sincerely, I don't know what to do, I can't even play a whole round and it crashes everytime.

Thinking seriously about asking my money back. :-/

It plays better in windows 8 (all 4 maps), only occasional cpu bound hichkup- almost no streaming stutter.

...probably because for every other beta release they say it is a beta in the title.

BF3 crashing with 310.70 drivers but FC3 runs better, can't there be a happy medium?
