That's the DX11 effect... pile on the superfluous effects and enhancements that you'll barely notice over DX9 and suffer a huge performance hit in the process. :p

Definitely needs a SLI profile plus an optimisation patch for the game itself IMO. The excuse that the game is CPU limited is just poor when you consider that I can run Sleeping Dogs completely maxed out at 60 fps at a smoother and higher framerate than NFS: Most Wanted which has the same open world with traffic and cops but minus pedestrians going about their daily lives. That game supports SLI/CFX and very well too so there's no excuse for NFS: Most Wanted not supporting them as well. Criterion's game is just poorly coded IMO, likely because the engine is at heart a console one that has not been optimised properly for the PC despite the fact it uses DirectX 11.

GTX 670 SC here, Battlefield 3 on ultra @ 1920X1200 feels quite a bit smoother (subjectively) with these drivers!

yes, I agree, the framerate drops in BF3 are much improved with these drivers!

thanks dnottis, must have missed that.

    I'm assuming that's at 1920x1080 resolution, if so that's pretty disappointing :/

would have loved to see some improvements for most wanted in here as well.

Actually NFS MW seems smoother to me, less fps drops. They don't always post every tweak, so its always possible these across the board performance increases will apply to unmentioned games. Try them and let us know, I think NFS MW plays smoother to me with 310.54.

Nope. Same sweet buttery smooth performance like with 310.34 Quadro.

JC2, Batman AA, TF2, Oil Rush (DX11, OGL) - same avg and minimums.
    Hard Reset minimums 30% up.

Tested on Windows 8 vs 310.34 Quadro.

    Hi AndyB,

when will Nvidia release a driver optimized for the 600M series (the 680M in particular)?

All the "improvements" seen on the GTX 680 or 660TI are not noticeable on my 680M. Like literally zero difference in Skyrim and Battlefield 3 between this driver, the last R310 beta and the 306.97 WHQL.

So they fixed BF3 lower performance by min fps (cpu bound locations or explosions, smoke)? Especially by GF 570/580 series compared to 305.xx and 306.xx?

I saw a few 670GTX saying its better, i hope its the same by GF110. :)

You're not likely to notice a difference anyway. Some of the numbers in the graph result from extreme resolutions. Nvidia probably couldn't even notice the performance difference between the two drivers without staring at FPS counter..

None of the bugs I reported were fixed in this driver.
