Hi. I joined here like 4 years ago. Seems people come and go, but there is always a strong user base.
welcome back. you've been a Guru longer than I worked at the co-op by two months. well done. Some new people. Some older ancient but awesome guru's are still here. It's still somewhere I visit daily.
We had monumental arguments because he came out with spades of tripe. If he thought it was ok, everyone else was wrong.
Last activity Boxing day 2011! People come and go, mods included. Life, work and family take priority....ask WildStyle!
Quite a few guys haven't been around for a while. I disappeared for a while and have recently rediscoverd G3D. Great to see so many still here or returning.
life's definitely taken me places. i'm still in the IT field working heavily with technologies like VMware, managing a lot of windows and linux machines for a company in in the DC area. while computer building is still a big passion, its been supplemented with family activities and working on my car. i can definitely say the hard work i've put in the past several years has paid (and continues to pay) off. current rig is now going on 4 years old (and still going strong thanks to upgrades in the video card and hard drives to SSDs). that said, the itch to build anew is starting. but maybe sometime in 2013 my only recent PC build was cobbling together parts from 2 6 year old PCs to make a sweet linux based backup server for my house so that all my other PCs and devices can be backed up automatically while also affording me a centralized storage location for sharing files on my home's network.
