Few days ago i started experiencing very slow write speeds while read speeds are normal. For ssd write is 20/30mb for hdd 10/15mb. Slowdown started for both at the same time. Ultra dma is enabled. I dont have ahci, mobo is sata 2 but everything worked as it should few days ago. So my question is what went wrong? Iw reinstalled OS same is happening. Revert to bios defaults also same happening. Havent added any new hardware. So WTF :bang:

I'm assuming your OS is on the SSD.
How have you verified the hard drives write speed?

Can you install an OS to a spare drive and see if things improve?
This will tell you if its hardware/BIOS or software/OS.

With crystal disk mark and as ssd. Yes OS is on ssd but it worked fine not long ago. Iw installed OS on hdd when i noticed the problem and tested ssd and hdd with same tools and same is happening. Using Win8 but the problem started when i was on Win7. The install was fresh from scrach. Tested it as i mention on hdd with Win7. I have turned off Kaspersky and every security software that might check files before let them run but its allways the same. Im realy puzzled with this as this is first time this is happening.

Check your event log for errors.

Look for anything relating to the hard drives or SATA controllers under critical, errors and warnings.
Look for errors that have occurred within the last hour, there is a counter for each under the last hour column.

Check CPU use as well, see if anything is using a lot of CPU time.

Nothing is out of the ordinary in cpu usage time. Iw found Device Manager - NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller Event Folder but theres only info there no warnings at all.

OK, doesnt look like anything is failing.
    What about CPU use?

CPU is at 23% when testing. And one more thing when i start test it starts from 140mb which is lil under normal speed and drops instantly to 20/30mb. And when i use usb from mobo it changes to usb v1 from v2 and i cant return and sometimes it doesnt see usb stick but when i put usb into usb from pc casing it works fine. Maybe mobo chip is failing donno.

Ah, it looks like one core is maxing out.
Can you check if all the cpu use is on one core?
Also check which application is using all the CPU.

All cores are used equaly. And now usage is 7%. Maybe when i tested previously some thing ren in background at that moment donno. I can give you live ****** on my desktop via teamviewer if you have time so you can have better insight into the problem.

I do not get it why s.t.r.e.a.m word is being censored

Makes sence but i doubt they will achieve anything by blocking it. Well when you have time message me so we can do that live st.... i just hope we can find a solution. If not im gonna have to test ssd on other mobo to see if its not failing altough its just 2 months old. But i doubt its ssd since hdd have same issue.

    I'm not connecting live.
Can you unplug all other drives in your system and see if the SSD is ok?

Can you download HDTune v2.55 (free) and report what happens and the speeds of your hard drive and SSD.
    http://www.hdtune.com/download.html

This is a read test but it may indicate something useful.
A screenshot will help if its hard to explain the results.

    That looks fine.
As you have the pro version, can you do a write test (if it wont destroy your data, it should warn you)?

You didnt test your hard drive.
When you do, look at the health tab and see if anything bad is reported.

See if it reports the SSDs health under the health tab, v2.55 I'm using doesnt report the health of SSDs.

HDD hes more then 1k+ bad sectors. Its failing badly. I red ssd life with ssd life pro and its 100% and it wil die in 2020 according to it. Hd tune cant do write tests when the drive have data on it only as ssd and crystal disk mark can do that. As i mentioned iw tested ssd with unpluged hdd since i know hdd is badly damaged and its still the same ****.

OK, it looks like you have 2 issues.

    1) failing hard drive.
    Backup your data asap.
With this drive in your system hard drive access is going to run pig slow at times.
Even when you are only trying to access the SSD, the SATA controller will be occupied trying to fix errors so the SSD can run slow as well.

    2) non use of AHCI on your SSD which means no TRIM.
If your SSD had some form of garbage collection, it wouldnt matter so much, but your SSD doesnt have any.
This means all the data that needs deleting is backed up and only gets deleted when you need to make a write, slowing writes down a lot.
    See here:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRIM

The way round this temporarily is to backup the SSD, completely wipe it and then restore your OS.
You really need to use TRIM otherwise it will happen again.
After you have wiped the drive and restored your OS, use the SSD as little as you can.
ie dont copy games etc to it, then it will last longer before it slows down again.
