So, i have something really weird going on here, wonder if someone else have similar experience. Its regarding BF3 and 7970 CFX. I have been on the 12.8 driver for a while now, which have been the best so far regarding BF3 and CFX for me. So today i tried out the new 12.11 Beta 4 driver, and the results are nothing but stunning, on a single card. I test in a spot on Sharqi Peninsula, and here is my results on single 7970: 12.8 WHQL: 67 fps 12.11: 99fps (!!!) yes, i have triple checked, i get over 30 fps more with this 12.11 driver.. but here comes the strange thing; If i activate CFX, i only get 116 fps in this spot, which is only a increase of 17 fps, on the 12.8 i get 122fps on this spot. On 12.8 both cards are working on a 95-98% load on this spot, on the 12.11, they only work at 50% Anyone else?
If you get 99 FPS on single card and have issue with CFX, seems the solution is clear to me... Just sell the other card then.
You did read my whole post, right? I have no issues with CFX, on 12.8 they perform really good. But with this new 12.11 driver, my fps is bumped up 30fps on single card, but i have less on CFX compared to 12.8.
