Hello there, when i just got the computer i was near 10k (which was about 2 months ago) and for curiosity, today i just did the test and its 7500 it went down a lot, also my card tends to run hotter than it used to not when idle but when gaming.

    Single Evga gtx 680
    core i7 3820
    16gb ram
    mobo sabertooth x79

Im running the 306.23 drivers when i first ran the benchmark i was using the 301 whlq ones but i dont think the drivers could give such a huge performance downgrade.

Id like to know if thats normal or it isnt, i think its not ok at all so id like to get deeper into solving this issues, thanks.

You should be hitting 10k normally... can you check if the GPU is running at 100% during the benchmark?

What's "Row refresh Cycle Time" on the RAM CPU-z screen ? seems very high @ 128 clocks

Also you could try setting your ram to 1T instead of 2T

Noticed there is nothing shown for channel mode and NB freq too

EDIT - Your PCI-E lane is only running @ 1.1 instead of 2.0

Sometimes a driver reinstall will solve that, I've had to reset my BIOS to fix it too

Solves the second one now it runs on 2.0

Also why should i change 2T to T1 if im running 4 slots of ram : O?

How is your 3DMark11 score now with it running @ 2.0 ?

Can't you run 1T with 4 RAM modules ? I only have 2 so never tried but 1T is the faster option

Its about the same but i think ive found the problem, seems like im running with 4 threads instead of 8 with my i7 3820 :( been trying to enable to use the 8 threads but ive got no luck, i enabled it in the bios and no luck : l.

So something in Windows is disabling Hyper-Threading ?

Maybe try command prompt (run as admin) > sfc /scannow

or system restore to before the problem but if you're not sure how long this has been happening it might not be worth it

Extreme option: run a windows upgrade of the same OS over this one, > result being a fresh install without losing anything
