AMD Catalyst 12.x (9.001 September 4) Unofficial

Finaly a great driver! Also CCC is working on my HD6720G2. very happy!

 

On my HP DV7 lappie the switchable graphics technology seems to be working fine with these drivers. Up until now I'd been stuck with the 12.4 drivers as none of the later drivers worked properly.

 

That is because they are part of the embedded/mobile branch. You can get an even newer set for your chips straight from AMD's website.

 

downloading now, hopefully CCC will work for me as with previous 9.xx drivers I have had to resort to using 12.8WHQL CCC.

EDIT:

CCC is working perfectly with these drivers, just installed no problems and did not even need to reboot.

 

Thanks for the assistance all. Can someone confirm they have the "CCC launcher" item when right clicking the desktop? I've had it up until this 9.01 set... Not really a big deal, but odd because I verified that my context menu does add/remove....

Hmm, now that I'm hearing people dont even have CCC, maybe i should count my blessings with such a minor issue...

At least I have a functional CCC (that can be launched from the tray, lol) :thumbup:

 

These are pretty solid on Windows 8, definitely recommended.

Close and open the lid found light screen, but can solve by ctrl + alt + delete.

HD 7750
Sometimes the display driver stopped responding and has recovered.

 

Installed straight over the 12.8 whql they went in fine, benched dirt showdown on a 6970 on ultra with 16xaa (no advanced lighting) 66fps average, min of 57 fps, this does seem a great driver.

Have some problems with this build, first thx asder, My CCC Get's corrupted when i click the color tab in ATI CCC, this is the first time this happens and Windows Experience Index Score Aero and 3D Gaming Graphics Score Went down from 7.3 -7.2.....

Im on Win 7x64 and i have installed latest dotnet Framework 4.5......

 

Drivers installed fine. My 5870m was detected as a CAD card though, but games run fine.
CCC doesn't open, but I'm used to that. Somehow CCC never opens if it came from a desktop package, only if it's from a mobile driverpackage it's working. I did NOT uninstall the old drivers (9.00 June), just installed over the old ones.

No biggy though, drivers work fine for me

MechwarriorOnline and GW2 running neat/crisp and decent/good fps even in "messy/maxed out" situations...
I have the same "black band" bug, but it's not such a big prob, after all.
Running cap 12.8-3 btw.

CCC not working?...clean your registry in safe mode after cleaning out old drivers

Ever since 12.4 ive had problems with ccc not working or installing but

ccc not working is a registry issue,just uninstalling even in safemode

doesnt do the job so...

as the title says....clean your registry in safe mode after cleaning out old

drivers but before installing new drivers,

 

Noticed some thing weird with deadspace with these drivers + cap3,
running 1080p @60hz and graphics maxed and vsinc im getting 30fps but vsinc off i get 200+ fps

 

very good drivers don't have the 3D Clock fluctuation (yet) with my 7970m and Oced the beast to 1025/1560 without any issues

 

Windows 7 64 bit and a dusty single 6870. Installed fine first time. CCC works no problems.

 

Catalyst version still showing 12.4, is this normal?
