thanks a lot guys. this is probably my cleanest build ever. right now i run a single samsung s27b970d. most amazing monitor ever btw! I plan on getting 2 more by the end of the year. i had a 3x xl2370 setup last year and wasnt happy with the driver support. then after i got rid of it they fixed the drivers. go figure!

The 3930k at 5ghz was stable on prime 95 for 5 hours with max temps around 85 on the hottest core. But i didn't want to continue as i will never run that cpu at those voltage. Right now i'm running 100% stable at 1.35vcore and 4.6ghz

Why did you take out that PSU cover at the bottom? You can use that to cover up some of the stray cables at the bottom. It will look a little cleaner.

Since the HD7990 is ridiculously priced, especially here in Asia - it's ~1240USD, so I've decided to go TriFire with three HD7970's -

@Sinda, nice pics, nice rig. You don't see black and blue that often these days now.

Well, mine for the most part is also black and blue. My main question, though, is what fans are those, sinda?

must have taken quite some time to do that... and i have to say, i'd be panicking any time i'd hear a noise that's slightly off with that 8-pin connector wire being that close to the ones at the top of the case. haha

Nothing too fancy, just a mini-itx media PC i've put together. Loving the Bitfenix Prodigy case.

Removing the side-walls of the fans surely impacts their performance?
