please help ..hp envy 15 1st gen user can you help me an other users of this laptop to install newer drivers hp support stayed on 8.712 is there any way to install new ones please help asder and thanks for this post

ATI Mobility 2300 modded drivers?

Hi,
Ati really did us old mobility card owners in, we lost all support 2 years ago.
Is there any modded driver after the 10.2 legacy drivers that we can use with the Mobility HD 2300 GPU?
Is it even possible to force the newer drivers with this hardware with a mod?

Anyone got a link to a working set of drivers please post a link .

Works this drivers for Win 8?

 

Laptop/Notebook users should basically get their drivers from the laptop makers homepage.

You can install this driver in Windows 8, just follow this procedure:

Open CMD in admin mode and type this:

Code:

bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON

Reboot.

Install the driver, open CMD in admin mode again and type this:

Code:

bcdedit -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING OFF

Reboot again and it's done!

 

LOL... I saw the "10 August" and I started reading the comments... I read 3 pages until I realised something is wrong...

And I was wondering how I missed this drivers-topic and already 8 pages of comments have been posted. LOL ( again )

 

My laptop is Fujitsu Siemens and those guys stopped updating drivers for the Amilo pi 2530 long ago,same with AMD and the HD 2300 laptop Gpu's.

You dont want this on Win8, this driver is over a year old!

Its 11.9 and not 12.9. Its from 2011.
