Hi guys...Just started playing the game for about 20min. came out of the game and my GPU temp was 103...none of games play to this temp...mostly 60 or 70....must be a driver issue..I am using 301.42 driver on a EVGA GTX 465...and I have the EVGA precision

Certain games can really heat up a graphics card. Is VSYNC disabled? Are you using a custom fan profile? Are you overclocking? For instance F.E.A.R. 3, with VSYNC off, causes my GPU to hit 69-70c with the fan maxed out at 85%. Granted I am pushing 180-200fps, no other game causes this much heat. The graphics really aren't that tolling, it's just how that graphic engine works with Kepler. Every title is different, and everyone's mileage will vary.

Vsync does not work in game.. your gpu usage is probably at 100% because its rendering frames above 60 fps
you have to force it on in nvidia controlpanel.

Same here. I also usually limit games fps with afterburner, in this case to 60 fps.

This game needs a new driver update.

You're wrong:) I have the same problem. Also had to force the vsync on in control panel.

Yeah wasn't the GTX 480 a good replacement for a George Foreman grill?

If you had a nice case with good airflow, the GTX 480 didn't get much hotter than the reference GTX 680's do. I had a 480 before I had my 580 SLI, and temps didn't go past low 80's.

But yeah, that joke went around the block quite a bit.
