If the TT review is correct then it's ahead of the 580 and 7950.

Performance wise it should be at or just above the 580; power, heat, noise levels will be a huge improvement over Fermi.

If priced right, I could see myself putting two of these in SLI... and I’m a single card only type of guy.

Any news if GTX 660Ti is only SLi capable or can do 3-way too ?
If 3-way is possible I'm defintely getting 3 of those to replace them gtx 580s.

Also Im kinda interested if the rumors are true about Nividia releasing a 256bit version of the 660ti card.

it looks like x60 sli (660 in this case) is once again the price/performance king, and by a LARGE margin this time (again, in sli config). compared to say a single 680. and if you want to compare price point, then consider performance per dollar compared to 670 sli, 680 sli, or even a 690, where it would be cheaper to go 3way sli and get better performance (but chances that nvidia allowing 3-way sli on the 660 ti is slim at best, it doesn't look like it'll have a second sli port for tri sli)

I get where he is coming from on that I personally think the 7950 may have a slight (read minimal) advantage over the 660ti but the 660ti will beat the 7870 so this will be interesting. On the performance I just can't believe that Nvidia will under cut themselves twice in one generation.

NVIDIA is struggling whether to release a 192-bit version which will not beat HD 7870, or 256-bit model which will affect the sales of GTX 670.

If I were them I would go smaller bus as to not kill the 670 sales if the gpu still hits say 1100 in boost and clock the mem at 6500 that should make up a bit of ground.

The 192 bit 660ti is faster than a 7870. You need to look at that 1 leaked review that I can't link here

    LOL

192 bit GK104 will blow 7870 to smithereens

here's the one who is CLEARLY struggling

They had to to be viable moving forward can't offer a card for more money that under performs against the compition. But you have to admit that the 670 has hurt the sales of the 680.
