Diablo 3 sometimes crashes with the 1.1.1.0 preview verison, it is fine with 1.1.0.6.

After upgrade to newest preview version, RadeonPro stopped working for me:

I tried to remove RP and install it again but it did not helped.

It said "failed to create D3D device" and wouldn't launch, but I have triple buffered vsync forced globally. When I disabled API monitoring for Tribes, it worked just fine.

I can confirm that thanks to RP it's possible to use FXAA and SMAA together, just set fxaa through RP and install SMAA injector in the game folder :) cheres

Yeah but that's a terrible idea. None of the post processing AA filters go well together and the hit to the GPU would be enormous from two of them.

In fact those post processing filters don't even go well with regular AA, because if you can actually apply regular AA it's more resource effective to just turn it up and using a post processing one can actually ruin the clarity of an image if it's able to use standard AA.

SSAA + MSAA is a different story though, combine those with downscaling for the best image possible. Too bad there is no way to combine them using an AMD card.

Actually, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to request that if it's possible... John is it possible to make Radeon Pro allow combining SSAA and MSAA?

Can you post a screenshot and note the average FPS compared to regular MSAA, SSAA, FXAA (only) and SMAA (only)?

Would be cool if RP can support a DSAA (down sampling AA) option.

For people with lockup or startup issues, download the updated installer again
    http://www.radeonpro.info/Download/RadeonPro_Preview.exe

This build introduces a new hooking engine designed to be less crash prone as previous ones. The "Force Aggressive API detection level" now works only for D3D9 games where the hook cannot be injected (you can't see FPS counter or use FXAA when that happens). The good side of this change is that more D3D9 games will be detected quickly enough to apply forced vsync and/or triple-buffering and Steam overlay won't cause crashes as seem before, and D3D10 and above seem to be working much better now :)

The not so good side is that some games won't be detectable without the aggressive detection level and on those cases forced vsync/triple-buffering won't work at startup time, but will work after an ALT+TAB.

I'm getting this now as well with today's new preview build.

I didn't get it with the last one.

Hi is it possible for me to somehow disable RP from connecting to port 5656 so I don't get the .net.socket error every time I start RP?

    Thanks a lot John!

    But, I'm getting this too.

Didn't happened with the previous one.
