REQ: gtx 690 + 6 core cpu assistance for BF3 testing

am I wording something wrong to make some not understand that im wanting FPS with BF3 MP with a six core cpu compared to four core cpu on high settings in game of BF3.

if I am saying it wrong please let me know.
now maybe you can tell them to not reply with anything besides what I have asked over and over otherwise its simply trolling.

there is only one thing im looking for.
BF3 tested in "HIGH" setting in 1080P
Six core CPU (Hyper Threading disabled if it has it)
join a 64 player server
run fraps with min/max/avg

stop test
boot into bios and disable 2 cores (still keeping HT disabled)
rerun test

BAM DONE!

Lot of people trying to get you on track but your habits are not helping. This is a serious forum with serious threads, trolling is not allowed only in the fun sections. So no one is trolling you or try to lock your thread. Its not my native language but yours it is, why don't you get it, as i understand when most people saying you doing it wrong, aside you got a moderator interfere in your thread. If you read between the lines he is giving advise as well, in the sort turn i have seen less moderators coming to a thread like that means something dude. You know this is not a troll forum or what ever you post not the first time so assume you know.

Like i said troll/rude people and what else get banned and i guess your hammer is coming soon too. And that shouldn't be you got some good ideas and thoughts i guess. start your favorite game up (BF3)
GO PLAY ON A SERVER
stop playing bf3
disable 2 cores in bios
GO PLAY AGIAN

do you call that hard?

 

Of course it is hard. Good luck getting the exact same set of events to occur in the match to ensure comparability.

if you go look at any other thread that has this much spam and troll baiting like this one does....well you simply wont find it.
it is pretty clear that you have continued to let them bait me and I think I pretty much stayed on the true path of saying I just want the fps over.


if a mod could just tell people to stay on topic it would be great!

 

BF3 doesn't lag on a good quad so even if you find out this info it won't help you. Most people on this forum don't really care about these kinds of things and people who have the high end hardware generally don't have time for people who are rude like this.

If you want to know how well it runs on a 6 core vs 4 core get a cheap 1055t or something around that speed and mix it with a gtx 690 then run it with both 4 and 6 cores enabled and compare yourself. You should be able to get it cpu limited then to see a diff. Just remember a 2500k can run the game with ease on 64 player maps so anything more isn't needed.

Honestly, how is your absurd data request going to help anyone..really..

 

Actually it's more like the mod was kind enough to give the thread a chance, even though you're severely rude and hence why you had your previous threads closed (including the one accusing Hilbert of biased reviews).

The real question should be "what is your budget for your build?" and honestly with the 100's of reviews out there, you should be able to come to a conclusion as to what cpu's are able to play BF3 without bottlenecking.

So out of curiosity, what is your budget? What kind of build are you going for here? You mentioned single graphics card before right?

As for every thread there is room for discussion about a topic, most here did stick to that.
But your letting your rage take over instead of patience.
No one denies you the data either, but maybe there arn't many that got the hardware and game needed to give it to you.

could someone please run some tests for me.

what I would like done is:
Disable ALL Hyper Threading if you have it.
Start BF3 and set the settings to 1080P and HIGH
Join a MP map with 64 players
start fraps to get it to record a benchmark min/max/avg
play like normal for a complete round
then stop
go into your bios and disable 2 cores

repeat the test and post results

please stay on topic or do NOT reply
