Hi guys i was recently stroke by some fact.Seems that Canada is the perfect place where i want to die.Yeah no joke.Lot's of people are communists, also lot's of Atheists, nice females and people there speak English so i don't have to learn fourth language.Oh and the nature, can't imagine better place to suit me.I'm totally honest.I want to ask the Canadian people if it's difficult to start new life there and which are the best cities/towns (the more quiet and small better). Also should mention that i'm not pretentious at any means.Just don't start with "oh we have problems here" "it's not perfect".If you really have desire for this then name me one perfect country with no problems in it. lol
It's cool, We do have problems like everyone else, but just research and choose a place that most fits your needs and career orientation.
Here in BC where I am close to Vancouver it's beautiful and if you like outdoor activities even in the lower mainland you are never far away from a place to do any of them.BUT BC also stands for "Bring Cash" very expensive to live here.
Indeed not cheap to live in Vancouver, but I definitely wouldnt want to live anywhere else.. and Ive been many places around the world. Im sure there are other great places to live in Canada besides BC obviously, but I doubt many have the perfect balance of beautiful city surrounded by mountains lakes and forests.. thats easily the best thing about bc, the vicinity to such great locales as Whistler and Kelowna but also so close to Seattle and Portland (where Ill be roadtripping to in two weeks yay!!) no, I dont work for bc tourism board, but do yourself a favor and pay us a visit! Ps the weed here is to die for
Oh you Canadians. Lol. I say go for it, we had this one guy who was Canadian and stayed in our house bus for 3 months - quite a nice guy imo. But haven't heard from him since.
You could always go to Germany. They have a communist party, lots of atheists and Amsterdam is always a train ride away.
Can't speak German and the only thing i associate Amsterdam with is the trance music.I like it but i'm not huge fan.If you had in mind some stuff that are illegal in most countries I have this voice always telling me "drugs are bad mmk"
If you like nature stuff, you're gonna enjoy Canada. Here we do a lot of mountain biking, hiking, walk/climb in winter, snowmobiles etc...
I hope you're prepared for erratic weather if you want to move here. Some days are 40C, some days are -45C with ice winds strong enough to knock down small people. In the GTA I expect a minimum range of 35C to -35C every year, even if the extremes are for a short period of time it seems to happen every year.
Yeah, but the "THC" count in our plants is amongst the highest in the world. Maybe it has something to do with our volcanic soil.
So you don't want to hear the truth? Or you're aware of this already? You didn't make it really clear... Montreal is too big for me, but I can't really recommend the rest of Quebec because it's hard to be unilingually English there. Personally I'm heading to Gatineau which is on the border with Ottawa for university, and I believe you can only speak English in Ottawa and it's really beautiful and I can't wait to be there. BC looks cool but I never went. Maybe just some smaller Ontarian city? But yes, we DO have problems, and we'll never have a communist government so don't expect that. We'll probably be heading the other way in the next 10-20 years since our debt is just getting bigger and bigger and the population is aging and our health care system is very hard to manage. Expect 8-10-15 hours wait time at the ER for your 'free' healthcare, and a LOT of taxes on your paychecks. If you're fine with that then it's cool, but most people here complain a lot about it, while bashing the US's system and it's like "what do you want?" I gotta say I freaking LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the atheism though. I'm in GA with Iplaynaked right now and omg I hate hate hate all this religion bullcrap. And yeah I'm Iplaynaked's canadian gf, I made an account to answer this because he wouldn't let me post from his account
I live in Toronto, been to a lot of Canada and its all pretty good. Were a democracy but do lean to the socialist side. Hey I've been to a few other countries and I always end up thinking of Canada and can not wait to get back. I for one do not mind the slightly higher tax rate here, we have decent schools, lots of parks and community centers, good roads, and good public services. The people are pretty cool, we have all colors and religions, generally we get along really well, almost a live and let live mentality.
Part of why I moved to the west coast much smaller variances in the lower mainland.Didn't see much snow this year at all.It does rain a fair bit but that don't bug me I'd rather that than snow.
Seriously??? T.O's pothole city, along with most streets in just about any city in Ontario or the country for that matter.
