I think someone should examine how justified current prices are. You know, just to make sure HDD producers aren't simply riding the wave a bit longer to wring out higher profit margins for their products.
2tb 54euro before the floods 2tb 92euro right now itll take a couple more months to have prices drop back to what they were preflood
somehow ,i doubt that we will get the same pricing. more,i want to see SSD get even lower prices,so i can afford an 500 GB SSD without selling any of my kidneys.
Prices will be low enough in order for manufacturers to not having overstocked warehouses when production is back to full brunt as it was pre-flood.

Funny as it is, 3TB MyBook Live NAS from WD is only 200 euros where I live (Slovenia). If we consider the prices of empty NAS enclosures, the enclosed 3TB drive is pretty cheap. Someone could probably start ripping those things apart and selling those drives for a hefty profit.
