Story of your guru3d name

It's based on a fictional character (won't reveal which one), it's also a descriptive oxymoron which I thought was cool. Another ID I use on some forums and particularly for online games is protocol_48, this is based on counter strike i.e when it changed from WON to steam, I always felt this was a turning point in online gaming and how right was I.

 

"Wraith" as in a ghost. and scouting was taken from the Protoss unit "scout" from StarCraft

Mine is my name initials.

 

I was angry ages ago with a girl,so the only way she talked to me was by IRC,so i needed a nick,so my brother says- get this nick...it amused me because it felt right for the situation i was in.
So the same was used for mail,accounts and so on...
Using it the same on various forums helped me consolidate some friendships..
And no,for each forum/ mail account i have a different password.
But i wouldn't use it for my personal/ bussines mail....i used only once in a bussines meeting and i received some nasty looks.

 

Good guess, your partially right. Most passwords contain my name but with numbers...

Same, I've always seen them as being lovely boobs...

 

I suppose that's why particular attention was given to choosing an avatar focusing on eyes.

Mine is an old high school nickname, not what most people automatically assume when they first see it. Guru3d and one other forum are the only two forums I've ever been allowed to use it. HH has directly replied to me and not ever made an issue with the name, probably because he knew it has a much less offensive slang meaning than what most would think.

IRL my nickname is Gandras (stork in English) added Zz this it looks better:infinity:.
This nickname gave me dad or aunt, i don't remember with one, because i was tall for my age and had long legs, but only friends call me by nickname.
I use this nickname everywhere games, forums.

 

Many moons ago, during the .com boom, a friend and I set out to start up an online video game retail site.

Being young the most important thing on my mind was the name.

After much altercation we agreed on NexEvo. The name derived from me being a trekky, my mate liked it and the domain NexGen was taken at the time.

NexEvo = Next Evolution.


Anyway, I was quite the tit at the time and the business never really got anywhere.
My friend and I slowly lost touch. A few years past and I learned my friend had past away.

I used various online pseudonyms until this point. Since then I have stuck with Nexevo, in memory of my good friend.

It's so long ago I barely remember, but I guess it is because I live up north, and am pretty cold hearted. Who knows, I seldom use it nowadays anywhere but here. I guess I got tired of it following me everywhere.

 

About 10-11 years ago I was registering for something, can’t remember what though, but it needed a username and I couldn’t think of anything so looked about the desk and saw a demo disc from a magazine, and one of the demos was Vampire Masquerade Redemption, and I thought redemption is quite a good word.

The 80, or sometimes 1980 is just the year I was born.
