At the moment my system has 2 AMD HD6950 set up in crossfire and its giving me gray hairs trying to make it work with Skyrim. Also have had crossfire issues before.
An opportunity has been revealed for me. I can exchange the 2 HD6950 and get 1 GTX680 fair and square.
    Would YOU do it?

Do you even need to ask...a 680 is faster then two 6950s even when crossfire is working. Whoever is willing to make that trade with you is dumb as rocks I would jump on that before he figures out hes getting the ****ty end of the bargain.

I had 5850CF before, Skyrim was playable but had stuttering indoors, low fps in towns and couldn't cap 60fps outdoors.

Bought a GTX 680 and now I'm capped at 60fps everywhere I go on Ultra High settings. Marvellous! This definitely made me play Skyrim again!

do it man get a 680, crossfire is broken and ATI is too lazy to optimize it well.. I will never go back to crossfire setup I used to spend my time trying to make a game work instead of playing a game .. enjoy your 680 :D

I upgraded from the same setup to a GTX 680 - you're going to be amazed at how much better the 680 is when it comes to performance, noise, and heat - and not just in Skyrim. And no more messing around with AMD's shoddy drivers and wonky crossfire. It's awesome.

Get as much gaming done as you can, cause whoever you swapped the cards with will be visiting you, very soon! ;D
