AMD Catalyst 12.x (8.960.0 February 28) Unofficial BETA

A lot of that stuff to install is already from previous Catalyst installations the info is read from the catalyst installation manager install info.

 

Installed this driver, now BF3 crashes in the loading screen. Will go back 12.2 pre...

 

BSOD for me too

 

Drivers are nice for me (maybe bcause I do not play BF3 =) ), Alan Wake, Syndicate - all work without problems.

k..thats prolly the WORST driver experience for me..ever...hauled down my whole machine..couldnt even restore it...wow...had to full reinstall..fortunately for me..my OS drive is an SSD..so takes a mere 10 mins or so to get back up n running with a full re-format..but jeeze...after rebooting...couldnt even load winblows...nothing...and its quicker for me to just redo than to hunt and peck...so..yeah..thats what that unofficial beta did for me..yes i know..buyer beware.. oh well..i needed to redo my machine 4x in one week keeps me in good practice

 

Yup BF3 crash on startp.

Heaven benchmark 2.5 crashes is any form of AA is enabled.... but fine with no AA !!!

Yes, i can confirm that, BF3 crashes too, when loading map, with my ATI 6990 (with or without any CAPs)

Must be only HD6000 and HD7000? series friendly...

HD6950 unlocked here, works perfectly! (probably just jinxed myself)

 

Yeah this is what I was saying. I started and then exited a game and my clock speeds went back to normal.

 

Please Please Please do kind sir... oh, did I mention PLEASE?

These three 7970's have caused me more pain than my ex wife!

a problematic driver for me, bf3 crashes and didnt install properly, there was no add/remove entry

 

Battlefield Bad company runs horrible with this drivers.

He said politely that what you said makes absolutely no sense. How does your picture look better because there is a new audio driver? I use realtek’s hdmi driver not the amd embedded one out to my audio video processor and it has nothing to do with amd 2 and 3d drivers thru a hdmi cable?

 

Run setup.exe again the uninstall is there.

Interesting, so this is a real beta driver which gives obvious troubles to almost all of us. Had to happen, since kinda all of the previous leaked drivers worked awesome for me in most games.

I'm looking forward to a fixed beta, nonetheless
