agreed... I'm tired of seeing minor fixes in drivers when they could take more time and push some major performance increases that you can see with your own eyes and not some benchmark utility.

I dont know why people bash AMDs drivers and/or hardware. I have 2 GTX 580s, and have had plenty of both manufacturers cards. I can tell you now, the sooner i can get back to AMD the better.

Never had any issues with eyefinity/drivers/anything compared to this nVidia ****.

It's ok apologising, but they could have released some betas in the meantime. :bang:

Rather wait and have a good, stable, and polished product than have it rushed and be a failure.

I've just switched to the Green and have to admit i do miss ATI's driver leaks and frequent build. I feel nVidia can also release driver sooner, even if it's just small fixes.

ATI have committed themselves to improving their drivers and they have done just that.

Wouldn't we all... but that isn't the way the world works. I've been PC gaming for over a decade and I can't recall any graphics driver I would consider "good, stable, and polished".

Just release the damn driver updates already... your consumers are demanding it.

I'd still prefer a few more interim betas to be released so we can have a play with them :)

I thought turning off hardware acceleration in firefox, and flash, would fix TDRs... Nope.
I thought setting power from adaptive to performance would fix TDRs... Nope.

What fixed* it for me, was leaving a 3D program up permanently.
I just have blender running in one of my virtual desktops.
Voala, TDR free (so long as blender is running).

I've seen the problem only a handful of times myself. Only seems to occur for me when using Firefox.
