So my HDD just blew up so I had to go and buy a new one.....I have spent the entire day installing and I finally got to installing MSI Afterburner Beta 11.... For some reason I cannot adjust the voltage now...even though before my HDD blew up I was able to adjust it and OC my card..... Does anyone know how to do this? I have tried everything from altering the cfg to adjusting the settings in the program.... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....I had it running at 940/1230 at 1.3v..... Thank you.
MSIAfterburner Config: [ATIADLHAL] UnofficialOverclockingEULA = I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it UnofficialOverclockingMode = 1 AccessibilityCheckingPeriod = 0 UnifiedMemoryUsageMonitoring = 1 Profile Config (VEN_1002&DEV...): [Settings] uP6208_Detection = 1 VDDC_uP6208_Detection = 46H I use 2 ASUS 5850 TOPs. You will only be able to push it +100mv with afterburner.
Thank you so much it worked....Hmm is there a reason I am limited to this voltage? Before I could get it fairly high...I had it at 1.3 before....Any suggestions?
I am so confused as to why I cant get a higher voltage now when I just had this card ocd at 1.3....now its at like 1.1187....very strange....
1.118 is your default voltage for your ASUS 5850. You will have to use ASUS SmartDoctor to increase voltage anymore than 100mv. I don't use SmartDoctor because it gives me stuttering issues when using Crossfire. The ASUS cards have a different VRM design and with afterburner is limited to just +100mv. This will give ya 1.218v. I run my 5850's @ 940/1200 with those volts 24/7. You must of not been using afterburner. You cannon't achieve 1.3 volts on the ASUS DirectCU 5850's with afterburner as far as I know. You will have to use ASUS Smartdoctor.
Mind posting a screen shot of your AB? I'm using 2.2.0 Beta 11 and I've never seen anyone with ASUS 5850 DirectCU's get more than +100 out of afterburner. 1.218v.
Sure I will post a SS of it for you. What happens is when I am playing say Star Wars TOR it will show in the on screen display that my voltage is 2.81 while the game is running. That is the highest I can get my voltage for this card using MSI afterburner. Is there any other program that I could try to get it higher?
