early, access began 12-13 at 7am cst pre-ordered mine in july still haven't recieved a early access you'll recieve two e-mails first anouncing the early access the second a invitation to start early access so be looking for them.And i beta tested the game thru all 4 builds you definatly won't be disappointed it's fantastic:banana:

 

If you pre-ordered back in July and you redeemed the code in July, You should be able to get in the game now.

 

the graphics in the beta was set to low the devs did that purposly to allow testing on different computers.

 

you would think so but no alot of poeople are in the same boat as me

 

Have you tried log in the game via the launcher? From what I read, you don't really need the email at all, its just a notification stating you are invited.

 

I'm sorry but i don't see the logic in that when one can set it manually to high.

 

ya.i've tried still says theres no active subscription for this account i even double checked to make sure i redeemed my code.says you've allready registered this code sigh.

 

really you could but guess what it wouldn't set to high the setings were set to low and you could set the aa but guess what again disabled same as the graphic settings,not gona argue with you i tested all four builds so i think i know more about it than you:biggun:

 

True, the game was kind of set in low settings(even if you put them on high) so you couldn't get a lot out of it, but in my early access, there is a HUGE difference.

 

My amazon package will arrive today. Everything else is good2go, so i'll give in to the DarkSide[tm] this evening. :flip2:

I pre-ordered some months back from amazon and at the time I registered an account and the preorder key.
I had an email yesterday saying that my early access was ready and was a link to click on in the email to activate it. I did and after a small patch to the beta client I was able to log in and play last night (UK times).
I have read that when the game goes live you will need to enter your retail key to continue playing though.

p.s. the EU servers where all at least 'heavy' and some showing a wait time to log in.

 

Here is my lvl16 Jedi atm. I went with Jedi Knight spec and tank/dps build. I probably will be rolling a Smuggler next because I like the look of that prof.

Should get my Amazon pack today aswell.




Edit: Actually this screenie says lvl14, but is 16 now. LOL

 

Am I the only one who thinks its dumb to be able to play a Jedi/Sith right off the bat? It would have been cool if you had to figure out how to become a Jedi or Sith by a questline. Don't even make it extremely difficult just make players put some effort into it.

 

Well my inquisitor started as a slave then had to beat all of his fellow students to become an apprentice to a Dark Lord. I am still an a apprentice. I think that lasts a while.

It's not like they start you as Darth ___ at level 1.

They do an excellent job of making me feel like a freaking badass though.

I've reserved characters but I'll start with this. Consular, lvl 12 at the moment. Just finished my first flashpoint. I have to say it's really something else... Conversations and choices. Awesome for MMO. Best MMO ever if you ask me. KOTOR but with other people.
