GTX 590!!!! WTF!??? This has to be a typo!

 

Needs a lot of Hard disc space too.

It is odd that they recommend a 590 for Dx9.. lol.., for what res I wonder

Hmm, requirements like that could mean that it's an unoptimized game pushed out the door too fast with lots of bugs......
OR, the insane amounts of bloom and blur are the most taxing ever.

I find it odd, even when they had the intention of putting GTX 590 that they put AMD 6970 instead of 6990.

 

the videocard recommended is GTX590!?!?!?!?????? and still only SM3.0?!! wtf?! wowww! but it's tooo stupid!!!

Gtx 590 and hd 6970 are in a completely different league, performance wise. Typo or a bad joke.

Min, recommended hardware is all to be taken with a grain of salt.. in every game.

 

This is real, and Gurus, you're not gonna believe this, it seems that those recommended system requirements are legit:banana: LMAO, and that most will have to lower graphics settings in order to play on lower graphics cardsc1:

Okay guys, I’m puzzled here. This is the first time I’ve seen a racing game requiring such a high-end GPU. Team 6 Studios have just revealed the system requirements for their upcoming arcade racer, FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction. And get this right; the team recommends a GTX590 and 20GB of free hard-disk space. Just… wow. A GTX590 GPU is required? So this game should have mind-blowing graphics, right? Well, to be honest, I haven’t seen anything from FlatOut 3 that justifies such high requirements.

According to Team 6 Studios, publisher trailer – that is currently available for view - does not use the full maximum graphic levels / recommended hardware thus does not represent the best possible quality. So here is the one-million question; why they didn’t use the maximum graphic levels?

Ronnie Nelis, CEO and Lead Designer for Team 6 Studios, revealed at the Steam forums that players will have to lower effect-detail (only causes the smoke-particles and such to be rendered in a lower resolution, what most games do by default anyway) and shadow quality (meaning you’ll have no shadow on the grass) in order to increase their performance.

So, will FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction be a great looking racing game or an unoptimized mess? We’ll find out soon enough.

edit: oh, and the resolution of textures are as low as uke2:

 

**** that... ill just stick to burnout revenge 360 on the xbox 360 and dirt2/3 besides i just saw the trailers on steam for flatout 3... it looks slightly (slightly) different than the flatout 2 i have loved till now

ps dirt 2 had better wrecks than any game i have ever played..... even better than dirt 3....
