Lol, tried to take the tour to learn about whats new but the pop-ups that are meant to instruct me are being overlapped by a gargantuan ad banner for Happy Feet 2 or something... advertising is so f**king stupid! :nerd:
My Adblock works fine, but now my page is full of CRAP and there's no little x button to "close" useless/stupid videos from my homepage. And now I don't have all fresh videos from all categories (I want to see politics, music, entertainment etc.) on my homepage, I need to click them one by one.. Interface is buggy as well..
Wasn't talking bout Adblock. Was talking about Guru3D. Usually they write about it, this feels like a spambot advertising a product, not the usual Guru3D fare. I just found it odd, is all.
Yeah I'm wasnt even used to the google change and youtube had to do it the following day. I mean if its facebook fine I don't really care, but when its my primary search engine I don't like to do more steps than I should lol... 2-3clicks vs 1 click. (haha these days we're all spoiled).
The new youtube interface is crap if you ask my opinion. It looks good but is more bugged (at least for me). Not to mention the advertisements.
Attention..didn't you get the memo? Bad press is good press no matter what. They will have the front page hammered for days just for people curious as to the change of it so those that got in on the ads for the front page first will get all sorts of revenue. We only feed that google/youtube fire by our own curiosity so my suggestion is not to go and look at it.
yea it sucks, i just hope i can use my original profile again.. I was in beta testing dunno how, but they automatically changed my profile to this new interface.. When i checked what others had to say, i saw not a single person that like it, my self included. If they permanently changed my profile im gonna delete it, its so awkward and stupid it hurts.. I dont need that. edit: ok they didnt change youtube profile, yet. But i see they're trying to force it there too, not cool. If they do, then bye bye Youtube. You're not gonna be missed. Just like google buzz, failed attempt from the start.
dunno if i'm the only one or not but i like the new design, i find it more useful indeed. what i don't like is the amount of grey, i suffer from aura migraines (hereditary) and a washed out grey is a color is something i've been trying to avoid all my life. white would've been better and clearer tbh.
Main searching site is "ok" but your profile isn't, you have to switch between 3-4 tabs to see your favorites/uploads, not to mention post profile comments, they disappeared or are hidden somewhere in its own tab too.. idk its so crammed and awkward, i hate it xD I just hope they will leave channel profile alone and make it optional instead of forcing it down our throats -_-
Channel page IS optional. One of the first things "the guide" tells you, is how to change between the old and the new look.
But we can still muddle through all the crap to see the Intel fanboy reviews rubbing our noses in it, though Incidentally, I'm even giving some thought to buying a Core i5 2500K myself next Spring!
