My wife lied to me

well than if you confronted her what did she tell you when you asked her why did she lie?

 

I never started this thread for a row, i just wanted to ask how i approach my wife now seeing as i can't even look at her.

I trusted her so much, i never asked her where she went when she went out, i just said fine, see you later.

So i think now, am i fool to have trusted her so much?

PS i do love my wife and daughter.

 

Well all you can do is talk to her when she comes back say "we need to talk now"
and explain the problem

I'm afraid their is no other way around this

 

Yes and no.
It's good to trust someone you love, but it's foolish to trust someone that doesn't love you back..

She said she don't know why.

Even after i said to her " i wouldn't have stopped you going to either house"
and she said " i know".
She admitted it was silly but no real explanation.

If you always make a point of knowing where she is, she might have lied as a way of claiming some sort of independence for herself, strange though that may seem. I can see it as possibly being form of rebelling against what she might perceive as being a little bit controlled. Just a theory anyway, but I think you should should try and relax a little bit.

 

Could it be possible that she's just preparing a birthday present for you or something like that? Dunno just asking.

And get the alcohol out, cuz it won't solve anything

 

No, and don't reply no more, im onto my next bottle of vodka so i will not make much sense.

Wodka is the worst 'partner' when it comes to solving problems. And empty bottles dont listen to you either.

 

Once they are empty you don't know that.
