All of us by now know how many companies have been coming up with their own implementation of autocorrect that's suppose to make our typing life easier on cell phones. Some of us, know about the website Damn You AutoCorrect. Sometimes the fails are so hilarious you wonder if the screenshots were faked. Now here's the question, what has been your worst autocorrect so far? Personally, this happened to me earlier today: Context: My colleague who was just newly hired at the McDonald's that I work at currently (yes I know, I have a McJob, it's the thing that pays for my gadgets and games). She was wondering if she was truly underpaid by accident so I was asking which pay period she was referring to but... What's your worst autocorrect fail so far? deltatux
But is it really necessary to use "autocorrect" when texting? Really do fancy a Samsung Galaxy S II for my next upgrade in the spring, but if I end up sending texts like the ones shown on "Damn You, Autocorrect!" the appeal is wearing a bit thin.
I was texting a lass the other day and she asked me what I would like for tea, I meant to reply Spag bol (spaghetti bolognese) but my iPhone auto corrected it to "Slag bol" not good times haha :bang:
I don't use auto correct, but I have often texted people while my phone was in my pocket. This was the other month and it goes on for about 10 more texts before I even feel my phone vibrate. Still funny to me at least. I'm just glad it spammed my cousin and not a girl.
My phone autocorrected "my condolences" to "my condom" yesterday when I wrote a message to someone who just lost his father to cancer. Luckily I noticed it just before sending it. Suffice to say that crap is now disabled.
I just hate the HTC keyboard altogether Seriously turn off the dam "Vibrate on key press" and the dam thing still does it... then try typing in Xda developers on Google and it suddenly changes it to Sea developers just as i press search
I was waiting for my best friend to get here and her 9yo sister was chatting to me on msn about anime (i was signed in on my phone). Once she got here i just said "Your sis just got here!" or something like that and then i thought i put in "sec brb 5".. 2 min later my friend got a phone call, she came in to the kitchen and asked me why her little sis thought we were having sex.. i missed the c in sec x.x. Probably not a auto correct mistake but still i blame the phone touch keyboard thingy. I still get teased about it T_T!
epic xD Don't have autocorrect enabled, but sometimes my messages don't make any sense, cause I type fast and usually don't even check the spelling..
