What is it going to take for you to shift to console gaming ?

Just thought it would be a fun question to ask. For me it would be:

-Mouse and Keyboard support
-Upgradeable hardwares
-Better game resolution

And I shall jump onboard !

 

All of your reasons above, but this would make any console a PC which means shifting 'over' wouldnt make any sense at all hahaha.

60fps all the time, no dips to 30 or lower.

 

Nothing will make me move to a console,as for proper mouse and keyboard support without *DEADZONE* well you aint gonna get it unless you use the hardware based XIM.

Well, if they were for free.. But I still would need a PC.

 

Hell would need to freeze over first.

3) Configurable Controls
4) Anti-Alising support
5) 60 FPS
6) Improving graphical quality over lifetime of console [IE: Upgradable hardware and software support]

So basically, a mini-PC, which is where I suspect consoles are heading anyways.

I would shift to console gaming if console gaming becomes more like pc gaming than pc gaming.

 

I have both. Both have their suited games. However, I just hate when the PC version suffers from it.

PC gets everytime the best version of the game, with all content :eyebrows:
60 fps or more
Mouse+KB and if you want, you can play with a gamepad.
All resolutions, like 1080p or 1600p :eyebrows:

 

Same here.

Battlefield 3 and Skyrim are for PC gaming.

MW3 and Halo are for console gaming.

 

Well it would make sense since buying a new console would be less than 500$ and because it's a "console" ... you should expect playing every games out there ! And by upgrading, i didn't mean upgrading Video card or CPU every year like we do for PC but more like ... "instead of buying a PS4 or PS5, we would upgrade the PS3" kind of thing

 

if i needed to save space and wanted a machine that i could not improve..then yes i`d get a console,but considering i dont need to do either then hell no

 

Why does one need to 'shift'? I own all the consoles and a good PC. I use the PC for most of my games, and the consoles for their very good exclusives.

I think every everyone could have all the consoles and a good PC, they would. I can never understand why it must be one or the other.
