    Hallo guys,

I need some info and help for overclock my Asus GTX580.

    My clocks right now running:

    Core clock: 782
    Shader: 1564
Memory clock: 1002 Mhz (2004 MHz)

    Voltages standard are 1.038

What clock will be good to overclock to, if i should keep standard voltages, or just raise it a little to fx 1,040?

    Any suggestions?

Raise voltage to max for the regular BIOS 1.15mV.

Set core clock to 900MHZ and see if it can run either Crysis or BF3,Metro 2033 if you any of those game.If it runs those games increase memory 100MHZ.

Set fan speed high enough to cool the card.

If it runs those games and temps hit 80C+ back off voltage a little bit.

I would use ASUS smart doctor to do this,or you can use MSI afterburner.

If you want to go higher there are BIOS out there to flash your cards.

He is a pic my 580 SLI overclock

Yeah max out voltage, and 900mhz is good starting place, after that if it is stable increase by 15mhz and keep going until it is unstable.

Try 850/4300 see if stock voltage is enough. Raise to 1050 if that's not enough. Start off small. No need to Max out voltages immediately. 1050 not enough try 1063

    Hi again guys,

Now i have tried to overclock my 580GTX Asus a little.

I'm now running my clocks at:
    830
    1600
    2070

Voltages is set to 1063, because with 1050 i crash in battlefield 3, but maybe its only BF3, dunno yet.

Can you tell me which stability program i should use to check the stability for my GPU?, and what setting i should run with in the program...

    please let me know :)

My tempeture in Battlefield 3 are 51C, so i think its ok... when i try to stresstest it via msi strees test program, temps are around 78-79.

battlefield 3 in ultra is a very gpu heavy game. in multiplayer, it can be quite strenuous on the CPU as well. so multiplayer may not be a good way to stress your GPU since your CPU may be creating a bottleneck.

What about my temperature of the card.

51C in Battlefield 3 and 78C when stress-testing it with kombus MSI and Furmark. Also i will try later today to run a heaven 2,5 stresstest and benchmark... some know what GPU score i should get for a Asus DCII 580GTX?

Want to know it, cause i'm a little disappointing about the performance. Getting down to 70 fps in 32/64 servere, but maybe its may CPU.

If someone knows about what the problem can be, please tell me,

    My setup is
    Phenom II X4 965 BE revision 2 140 Watt clocket to 3,765
    8GB DDR3 ram "Corsair"
    Corsair 750TX Watt PSU
ASUS "NEW" 580GTX :) new clocket as i said above!

    Hope someone can help here!

Could be a CPU bottleneck, 64 player is mostly cpu limited, especially for 4 core phenoms. You could open up task manager, join a 64 player game, alt tab and check your cpu usage in task manager and see if its 100%

Is it me, or is there no stresstest in Heaven 2.5? i just did a benchmark, which it passed succesfully. My clock here was 830/1660/2070...

Is this benchmark good enough for stability testing?

Crashing in BF3, but not in Heaven.. Have increased voltages for my GPU, and have no problems now!
