Found these drivers by doing constant searches, such as: 8.919, 8.920, 8.921.

The drivers are newer than the 25th of October drivers that Marthand recently posted. [Build date. They were newer than Preview 3].

EDIT: Although the CCC is older [comes with: 2011.1018.2004.34204], and the same CCC that Marthand includes in his "8.92_new" - The latest CCC comes from Marthand's "October 25th" release.
And I also seemed to have missed Marthand's original post as so: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=352589
It's merely a repeat of that...

One thing that I can say, is that among all the people reporting 'borked Windows installations' [Of what I glanced at, I only saw mobile users reporting the issue], I've had no issues uninstalling these drivers, and installing the drivers from Marthand's "8.92_new" post. I have yet to try uninstalling the "8.92_new" package.

    Exit 'EDIT'

I haven't done any major testing yet, but I'd like to know your opinions on this version.

    Cheers,

The Opengl is newer than the Preview 3's too.

    Indeed. :)

I don't have RAGE, but I'd like to see someone try it with these drivers.
    RAGE uses OpenGL, right?

    It´s older then Marthand 8.92_new:
    OpenGL: 6.14.10.11303
    Direct3D: 7.14.10.0877

It looks on Marthand first 8.92 drivers.

Hmmh, I didn't see those posted. Perhaps few people went onto that thread.
I'll find them and give them a whirl.

Yup, you told me. I trusted you before on what you said.
Thing is, 'marthand' said that the build date was the 18th, the 25th drivers are older in terms of the component versions.
Anyway, I'm going to give those a spin, but it's important that we all upload the different versions that we find at the end of the day - and then try them, we might find a very decent pre-release driver package :p

I don´t understand it well, but these drivers looks the same as the frist Marthand 8.92.
And also one thing: I have update CCC in my drivers on the last version from last drivers from Marthand (8.911-111025a-127481E)

In the 8.92_new thread, people claiming these drivers bork your Windows install. If these are the same as those, I won't touch them.

I just used the Phyx10n Driver Sweeper, and the CCC version from Marthand's "8.92 new" and the ones I posted about is: 2011.1018.2004.34204

It seems as I go through all the build installers, it was Marthand's 25th of October driver package that gave us: 2011.1025.2231.38573

Now we know which parts are coming from which! :)

Also, I believe Marthand's "8.92 new" used the 03.00.0854 installer; the one I uploaded uses the 03.00.0851.
There are differences here and there. But we should all get to some testing work! :) See what builds of each component is best.

Well, I just uninstalled the ones I just posted about, and have just installed the "8.92_new". - They're not exactly the same.

Will let you know as to how mine uninstall.
I only took a quick glance at that thread, but the people who I saw complain were mobile users, someone must've made a mod. for the package; for the Radeon Mobile series, I'd only ever use WHQL releases [Or any test driver that is going to be WHQL signed - as WHQL signing itself doesn't exactly go through testing every game; we've all had problems with WHQL releases at some point.]

It's not exactly the same as Marthand's "8.92_new"... But, I didn't see that other post. Darn, do I keep missing those? lol. I only ever seem to land on Asder's posts.

Anyhow, if there's one newer than Marthand's "8.92_new", please do link me to them, I'd give them a try.

Hmmh I saw that link the first time round :D hehe. Anyway, let me know if you find any newer builds though. I'm always willing to try. [Perhaps I should try test builds on one of my spare 5770s, and not my prized 6950 - I don't want it to suffer from any nVidia-like occurrences with erm... fans...]
