i did not get any noticable difference but a friend of mine with sli 9800gtx's said he got quite an improvement. he was playing on low before now plays on medium and gets 50-60 fps. so he says.

Ive installed them on my laptop and so far theyre perfectly fine.
BF3 seems a bit smoother, may be a placebo effect thought. At least TDR bug is not there and everything is working in order.
Same 3dmark11 score as before iirc.

The driver worked for me. No problem until now.

I installed for BF3, no fix for stuttering :(
And the "broken" shadows still there.

As said, why nvida would release a netbook driver and you think its gonna have bf3 fixes? lol

so dont bother with this driver! If there's something with bf3 (stutter fixes) there will be definitely not a netbook driver only and you'd also heard so.

Previous WHQLs are not 'just fine'; do these fix the windows movie maker black screen preview pane?

this driver is from a different 285 branch, just like 285.27(38) and is "older" to these first 285.27(38) betas, if both betas worked for you then its fine with these too, btw 285.58quaro is also newer according to branch type.

This mobile driver is kinda like a raw 00 point r285_00 branch with few hotfixes>> r285_00-118

    285.27: r295_15-18 (i think)
    285.38: r285_15-29
    285.58Q: r285_15-52
    285.62: r285_58-0
    285.69: r285_00-118

Why would these drivers boost BF3 soo much and nVidia hides it from us. A daring soul has to go find it from a Denmark site to fix peoples BF3 stuttering and performance.

I want to install these but once before I told myself, never install betas and internationals. Only download BETA from www.nvidia.com They dont have it listed,, Ill wait until revision 285.70 or something...gl

285.64 driver is working much better for min in BF3!! I tried both 285.62 and 285.69, and here is my top 3 list with them:

    285.64 first place
    285.62 second
285.69 last and worst. So .64 driver is giving me a solid 60fps, which is the first driver for my SLI´d GTX570´s to really make me enjoy playing the game for the first time. Damn I sux at it now, I just need to get more time playing the game. I a pretty decent BC2 player, but this game is much harder before you get in to it. So I play like a king on the 360, when I have got used to all the maps I come back to PC and start the beautiful war against all you guys. ;)

No stuttering at all, for me personally. So my biggest issue now with the game is the bad lag I have being experiancing in many matches. You like run 100meters forward, and suddenly youre back where you started 2 seconds later?? Its even happening on the 360 version?

    do you play RAGE too?

If yes, could you test if its using more vram with 16k mipmaps or is it the same like by 285.62 (below max 1270mb, more like 980-1070mb; depends on reso)..

And what branch are they, you can check with nvidia inspector.

    tnx:nerd:

edit: i found out about the branch, r285_00-108

hmm now i kinda doubt it contains RAGE fix..its from the same branch as 285.69.

    edit2
: well like i thought they don't contain the same RAGE "memory fix" as 285.62whql, but at least its smooth (~1265mb) and doesn't stutter like with 285.69 (~ 1268-1270mb)..

    Gonna test these some more.

How would i know if it fixes it for your system? Install them and try by yourself dude.

And yes, they re fine for what i do. I really dont know what you ppl do with this stuff to suffer crashes, artifacts and whatnot. Maybe my system is awesome, or i have an awesome luck with hardware, wtf i dunno, i dun have any glitches like those : /
