Not if you have pre-ordered it? My EB Games has like 3 box worth of them, one for each platform and the boxes are huge lol. Smallest being PC, but not surprising lol.

Yeah, Digital Retailers can sell out of CD keys. So basically, even though they probably had like 100,000 CD keys, they managed to sell out, and not get any new keys in time. Impressive...

I can't wait to see the PC players online at once. Imagine if this trumped CS? CS is currently still the most played FPS, in terms of concurrent players. Up to 70,000 people playing at peak hours. Which is nuts, considering it's age, and being PC onry.

Whoa, hold up, stop riight there. I'm not saying this game deserves perfect 10's...no game deserves that, really. No game is perfect.

However, I just got done reading a review, and this stood out:

"Whether it's a grenade exploding without an indicator, a blast from an unseen enemy,"

So basically...they see no grenade indicator or direction of fire indicator as a negative? Must be CoD lovers here, cause that kind of stuff kills immersion. You should listen & look for a grenade. You should observe where you're running to, look at the buildings and your surroundings.

YOU DO NOT JUST RUN OUT, GET KILLED, THEN BITCH. It is not that type of game. It is not a super tactical / strategy game, either, but it is also not a run and gun type of game, you cannot bitch if you ran out into the middle of the open without looking around first and died. That is NOT a reason to negatively review the game.

SSD's have 0.01s response time, so basically loading times are chopped to zero in msot games. They're super fast, and don't get fragmented. However, they are super expensive. It helps reduce stutter, loading time, and pop in textures.

I recommend the Crucial 64GB, only 110$ right now, and has excellent performance.

Actually, in some games, it can at least help with keeping a constant FPS. As loading is instantly.

White, I read about that and Corsair is doing a recall on that series, seems they're dying very quickly at a high rate.

Let us add to that you don't get the full 60GB, like with the 64GB. With 64GB, you'd get roughly 59GB, with 60GB, you'd get 53ish GB. Enough room to install your OS(W7 64-bit fully updated is ~ 12-15GB) + default programs & games, you'll be hurting.

    That extra space could help.

Played the campaign for a while. Game runs good and looks fantastic so far. If I didn't have a cold and have this headache I'd play longer. Got to play instantly at release since I pre-ordered on Origin.

Not FPS, but smoother gameplay / less stuttering. Its most obvious in games with large open worlds which are streamed, like ArmA2, Gta4, AssassinsCreed.

And having the windows page file on the SSD helps a bit with OS responsiveness too, faster explorer etc etc.
