    Hi :nerd:

With 2X 6990 in CF (with primary display) and one 470GTX (with 2 secondary display)
With the new 11.9 and 1.10 driver.

If we boot without a screen on the 470, then we reconnecte theme on the systeme, the CF and the config Nail ar still available.:bang:

If we boot with the screen on the 470, the FC config nail disapear, and we disconnecte the screens without rebboting the nail dosn't reappear.:bang:

The new overide interface seems to be the cause.
and there are no problem with all series of old driver .

If you have an idea to solve the probleme.
Or a solution to make AMD take care of it.

    Thanks

    Sorry but why the Pffff?

Be patient and somebody will try and help you. The more that you leave little messages like pfffff , the less likely somebody will bother to help you. (just a guideline, no offense mate)

If its the new CCC Interface, then you can use an old one that works still, with the latest drivers.

Just download the latest driver on its own from the Individual Downloads section on the site, and then just run it, so then you will be using the latest drivers, but with your older CCC interface that still works (its what i have to do now, as i can't use the new CCC, as it buggers my clocks up).

If its a hotfix/preview driver you are wanting to use, then you'll have to update to those drivers through the Device Manager (Update Driver button) once you have downloaded and extracted them (to get the files out), as you have to download the whole packages of those, you just have to point the Update Driver, to the newly extracted files, so it can pick the new driver up. :)

arf, the troling is so ...

    WELL

    more details:

I use 470GTX with secondary screens for several reasons:

    - Avoid to overload 6990.
    - Avoid secondary screens flickering during 3D mode on main screen.

GTX470 helps me to handle 3D on virtual system and physx.

Secondary screens plugged on Slave 6990 have never been detected.

In all case, the problem doesn't come from GTX470. Latest drivers are the issue.

Cross Fire overdirve option turns off once secondary screens 470 graphic card are detected.

I have tested 11.8 update with 11.10 without having updated catalist to stay with old overdrive.

But same problem: overdrive disable when 470's secondary displays are detected.

This problem is not due to the new overdrive system.
Problem is in latest 11.9 oficial and 11.10 device's driver.

If I m boot system with lasted driver and display cable disconect from 470, the CF overdrive option reappear.

    Sorry for my english;)
